Specialties

Beanstalk Montavilla specializes in modern, hip children’s resale clothing, toys and equipment that are loved for their quality and style. Clothing sizes range from preemie to a child size 14. Shoes up to youth size 2. Expectant families will also find quality gear and accessories.

The store is organized in distinct sections for girls, boys and infant clothing, while parenting accessories, shoes, books, toys and gear are easily accessible.

And, because we’re «recycling» gently-worn products, Beanstalk is helping the environment too. Each item is checked to ensure it is not on the recall list & that it meets the current Government Safety Standards.

Anything and everything you need for your growing family.

If you would like to consign with us. Bring in your freshly washed, gently used items Tuesday through Saturday with no appointment needed. 1 bin or less of items. Call first with big items to make sure we have space. Please see our website «how it works» for more detailed information.

History

Established in 2012.

Beanstalk is a family-owned modern and hip children’s resale store, whose roots began when like minded friends and their 3 year-olds went on a camping trip. Carmen, the owner of Beanstalk, grew up on a farm taking care of animals, gardening, sewing and repurposing just about everything. After a career as a Naturopathic Family Physician, it seemed natural to go back to her roots and help families in a new and re-purposeful way.

Beanstalk opened a second location, in 2015, in the heart of downtown Montavilla. Beanstalk’s mission is to provide local families with contemporary high quality, new and gently used children’s clothes, shoes, toys and gear at a price they can afford.
