I had my first visit for an airbrush tan day before yesterday with Nicole. I have had great airbrush/​spray tans in the past so my expectations are pretty high. Nicole was an absolute sweetheart and made me feel very uncomfortable. She took her time to carefully spray every area and did a good job. I did all of the prep however I do have a very little orange area around my hands and toes, but I do think they may have to do with being older and probably could have been avoided if I just washed my hands sooner or put a little of the blending lotion on the wrinkly areas of my fingers and feet. I will go back and sign up for the awesome monthly deal they have which is $ 49 for 2 airbrush tans a month. Just remember to follow directions to get the most out of your beautiful tan!

Polite service without any sales pressure at all. They sell a variety of eye protection and will store it for you so it is there when you want to tan. Great selection of tanning lotions in both full size and individual use. Comfortable tanning beds with strong bulbs. Nicely decorated.

Bask is the best. The owners and and staff are SO friendly and helpful, they’re straightforward and transparent with pricing, and they aren’t pushy at all. The place is super clean and it feels like a spa! Pricing is competitive and actually seems pretty low for the quality of beds they have, plus it’s just a better experience overall than any other tanning salon I’ve been to in Portland. I highly recommend going!

Friendly staff, they don’t try to up-​sell you or push products on you, but always make you feel welcome. The space is clean and comfortable and the beds are great. Competitive prices and they often times have specials running. I really enjoy my visits at Bask!

Bask is THE BEST place to go for your tanning needs whether it is tanning beds or airbrushing! It is very clean, the staff is super friendly, and they are not overly pushy when it comes to sales. I HIGHLY recommend them! They are the best tanning salon I have ever been to by far! Go check them out!

Super clean, great staff, no pushy up sell tactics. Highly recommend! If you are looking for a new tanning spot I would recommend driving to the johns landing area to visit these guys. I found these guys on Unilocal due to their reviews and some pretty unsavory reviews for their competitors. Being new to the process I trusted the reviews and they served me well.

Low key. No crazy sales people trying to sell you products or more tanning. Never a long wait for a bed. I rarely tan but love coming here before a trip. Did a spray tan before Vegas and they did an amazing job. I will never go back to a spray booth again. I even did the caffeine add on it smelled great and made my skin feel nice and tight.

I don’t tan much, but I when I do, it is always here. Great staff, clean, and convenient location for me. I’ve had spraytans as well from here and they have always been great… well one time it wasn’t awesome and they said let us know this and we will fix it for free anytime. Nobody is perfect, but you can handle it different ways, and they handle it the best way any business could.

I agree with the other reviews that this place is the best I have been in the area, not only it has a classy style, but is clean, the beds are clean and sparkling and so are the restrooms, the staff is great, professional but also friendly, warm and helpful, always letting me feel welcome. They are also quite knowledgeable about different tanning products, and if, if you want to buy some but are confused they will explain all about them in depth. The prices are decent too.
I brought my daughter here and she was very impressed as well. We are going to spend some vacation time in Tunisia, on the coast, before thanksgiving time and, I will be coming here more often, to get well tanned before my trip. I definitely recommend this place and I will be back for sure!

Love this place! Great staff, great customer service! Beyond what you’d expect from a tanning salon. I’ve always had airbrush tana from this salon and finally bought a tan package. The VIP bed I purchased was broke one day, so they let me use the next bed down free of charge — not going against my purchased tans. Truly great customer service! Recommend to everyone!

I had made an appointment to have some photos taken for my upcoming wedding.
It was in late June but as everyone in the Northwest knows, the sun and summer does not start until after July 5^th so in order to have some color in the photo while wearing a white dress, I thought a spray tan was the way to go.
I have to admit I was a bit apprehensive but all the positive reviews on Unilocal certainly helped. This is a family business. Jessica is one of the owners and she is the one that assisted me with my spray tan.
She explained, because I had never considered doing this before and didn’t know that she would spray the chemicals on me and they have some color in the mixture that she uses as a guide so that she knows where she sprayed but that the actual color comes from the chemical change with your body chemistry. So, the bottom line is that how you look when you leave might not necessarily be how you look the next day. In fact, you look more natural the next day.
I had this done around 4pm in the afternoon and she said that I should shower around 10 or 10:30 that night giving it time to «soak» in. She said if something happened between that period of time for example inadvertently getting wet and messing up the tan that she would fix it free of charge if I came back. I told her I had no plans on getting wet but she said you never know accidents happen.
They use a private room and you can disrobe as much as you want. I elected to leave my underwear on as I was just getting photos wearing a dress. She sprayed my stomach as well just so I felt tan all over. I was apprehensive about getting my clothing stained but I had no issue with that either.
All in all it was a positive experience. I was going to go back just before the wedding and do it again but by then the sun had been out and I thought the little tan that I had would work fine.
This location has tanning beds in it as well if you want the real thing. They do not use machines to apply the spray tans just airbrush and Jessica I think does them all. She said the places with the machines don’t go on as even and I can believe that just based on the care she displayed in putting the tanning spray on.
One session for $ 45, all in all a good deal.
I would not hesitate to use these folks again and I would completely recommend to friends.
