The best. I came to Asula after a car accident banged up my neck pretty bad and cannot say how much I love it and all the care providers. Dr. Grant is not only super knowledgable and a fantastic chiropractor, he’s incredibly personable and it’s always a joy to chat with him. Chris is an amazing acupuncturist and you really feel like you’re being listened to with him. The assistants and the gals at the front desk, all gems. Thank you for making my experiences here wonderful.

I love Asula! I have been coming here for years now. The place is very clean with a nice ambiance. The chiropractors are very knowledgable & friendly. They not only put my back & neck in line but they seem concerned with my overall health as well.
The masseuses there are amazing. I have gone to a handful of other places to compare & I always come back to them because they work the knots out of my back better than anyone else in this town. Unfortunately because of how awesome they are they can get booked up pretty fast but they just hired more staff to help with that…& they are totally worth the wait.

Asula had been recommended to me by several people. After injuring my shoulder blade, I decided it was high time to give it a try.
I was able to get a same day massage appointment with Jen and she was phenomenal. The light bulb suddenly went off — this is what a good, healing massage is supposed to feel like.
They recommended a visit to a chiropractor as well. I saw Cara who was extremely helpful and provided good information to help me stay healthy.

I just adore this place. I hadn’t been to a chiropractor in almost a decade, but being a stylist I spend most my time on my feet and it was high time. Let me just tell you have relaxed and comfortable I felt immediately waking into the space. The staff is really nice. And Dr. Mariah us a total God send. Sadly, now I barely see her because she helped fix me.

I can recommend the Asula Chiropractic and Wellness Center as an excellent place to begin healing back and neck injuries as well as using acupuncture to bring the body into balance. Dr. Grant Morlock is my chiropractic physician and Christopher Miller is my Acupuncturist. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, everyone working at Asula is helpful and kind, and it is conveniently located near the streetcar so driving is not necessary.

Dr. Grant Morlock has been my chiropractic physician for the past few years. After a long history of sport injuries, car accidents in childhood, and past tomboy tomfoolery on my part, my neck and back were a mess. Dr. Grant listened attentively to my past chiropractic history (which was all good, just on another coast), and knew the right questions to ask for the type of care I would receive.
After the first visit, I was able to sleep flat on my back, with my legs straight out for the first time in years. After more work, I also was able to say goodbye to pretty severe sciatica that would shoot down my leg after sitting for more than a half hour at a time. We are continuing to work on my neck, and keeping my body on a healthy contiuum.
I never hesitate to recommend Dr. Grant to friends and associates. Thanks, Dr. Grant!

I saw Dr. Maria for chiropractic, Chris for acupuncture and a multitude of massage therapists. I cannot express how beneficial and knowledgeable this clinic is. It’s so cozy and inviting and you instantly leave stress behind when you walk through those doors. I really recommend going here and you’ll be missing out if you don’t. It’s the ultimate place for healing emotional, spiritual and physical injuries. What are you waiting for? Make an appointment!

I just came back from my first visit and it was great. Everyone was very nice and the business was very well kept. I met with Dr. Maria McNash, and is the best doctor Ive ever dealt with. I am so glad that I chose this place and I wold suggest it to anyone.

I started seeing Dr. Kara Giaier about a year ago and today while I was in her office I was thinking how appreciative I am of her. When I first saw Kara, I was in chronic pain. Today, I rarely am in pain and I just all around feel better.
I’m not claiming her to be a miracle worker but she has transformed my issues over the past year.
She has been consistent in her holistic approach by asking good questions and keeping me educated and accountable for taking care of myself. Even a personal email to check in on me at one point where I really felt awful. In summary Kara is genuine, kind, bright and professional.
Every time I walk in to the practice, I’m calmed by the atmosphere. The staff are friendly and knowledgable.

I was traveling from LA, put my back out and they came highly recommended from a friend in the film industry … I was reluctant because I like to really «vet» a wellness center before jumping in, head first, but I was in too much pain and I have to tell you I was so impressed and loved EVERY practitioner I saw from acupuncturist to chiropractor … Can’t recommend them enough! … Jump in «head first» if you need to, they can be trusted and work some miracles! :) xoxoxo

Dr. Leila, at this practice, has changed my life. That may sound like an exaggeration, but I do not say things like this lightly! I have had chronic and intense back pain since the age of 19 (I am now 48), and have seen countless highly recommended chiropractors, acupuncturists, orthopedic specialists, surgeons, physical therapists, etc… I practiced yoga regularly, and even had steroid injections as a last resort. While all of these practitioners tried hard to help me, my pain continued and increased. It was painful to get out of bed in the morning, and even to reach down and put on my shoes.
FInally I was recommended to Dr. Laila, and I went with little hope that she would be able to help me, because after all these years, nothing had worked. I am so happy to say I was wrong! She did an excellent job of figuring out the root of the problem (using her chiropractic skills, looking at MRI results, and finally sending me to an amazing physiotrist who was able to figure out exactly where the pain was originating and how to treat it effectively while keeping me active and engaged in life). She referred me to Pamela (another wonderful soul) in her office who teaches pilates under her guidance, and after 6 months of hard work (I have to admit that I don’t love Pilates, but it has been worth it!), I am almost pain free and able to do all the things I love. Finally, the pilates is even covered under my insurance as «rehab». As is this wasn’t enough, Leila is a caring, kind and lovely person who is a joy to interact with. I cannot recommend her highly enough!

Finding a new chiropractor is not a fun process. As with any profession you don’t know if you’ll be getting the best in their field or the barely-​good-​enough-​to-​graduate type but I am a believer of this place. I’ve seen two doctors here and have felt great about their service. Particularly, Dr. Marie (i think) — she was one of the best chiros that I have ever seen. I tweaked a rib and a vertebrae and saw her on extremely short notice. I hadn’t been to this place before and didn’t do any research really — just knew that it was close and it was the only place that made an effort to squeeze me in since I was hurting pretty badly. The facility is extremely nice with a great atmosphere. I got called back and after a quick consult got adjusted with an immediate alleviation of some of the pain. A couple of days later I was feeling great. She wasn’t pushy about scheduling several follow-​ups or selling me back braces or whatever like we’ve all seen before.
I’ll definitely come back to Asula and look forward to Dr. Marie

Shahrzad is easily in the top two, maybe the best Acupuncture practitioner I have seen in the past 20 years! I’ve had many practitioners tell me that they can do more for my back pain than massage can, but it was seldom true. Shahrzad never made any bold claims at all. Instead, she methodically investigated my issues, laid out a theory and diagnosis, created a treatment plan, and gave me the best treatment I have ever received– all within my first 90 minute visit. She is a whole-​body caregiver, and she has an unmatched intuitive sense.
I have also received excellent care from Chiropractic practitioner Grant Morlock and the massage therapists.
And, the office is clearly well-​managed as it is easy to see them, book appointments, get reminders as you would like them and the insurance is taken care of very smoothly. It may seem unimportant, but it is really nice to go to an office wherein everything runs like a well-​oiled machine.

Dr. Laila is a lifesaver! I go to Asula monthly to maintain balance in my life (which involves a lot of rounding forward toward my computer + a super active lifestyle). She’s a true healer in every sense of the word and I’ve recommended her to all of my inner circle.
The office space is calming and has an overall zen vibe. The massage therapists rock my world and the front desk peeps are super awesome.

I have been coming to Asula for pilates for 3 months or so and have had a great experience. Not only am I increasing my strength I’m also learning precision in movement and am developing more consciousness around how I feel each day.
They have 3 or 4 instructors (I think) so chances are you’ll find someone who suits your personality and fitness level. Hannah and Teresa have been terrific teachers for me, very patient and willing to coach me.

I see Dr Grant Morlock for mid-​back pain from a subluxed rib. After going to another chiropractic office and being oversold, over x-​rayed and pressured into buying a package, Dr Morlock is a refreshing practitioner. He has helped my pain but he never pushes sessions on me.
In addition, I bring in KT tape and he tapes up my back for free. He is knowledgable and supportive of complementary activities.

I bought the groupon for 4 private pilates reformer classes and 4 steam room sessions for $ 100. What a fantastic deal! The space is fresh and the instructors were friendly and knowledgeable.

Dr. Grant is amazing. He is very thorough and has also given me nutrition tips and exercise tips for my back I had broken in two places that is now healed and I struggle with. He helps my body feel normal again. Thanks Asula and thank you DR. Grant!

What a lovely place. I had several Pilates sessions with Chelsea, who is awesome — super-​sweet and a fun instructor. A huge draw is their sauna set-​up, which I’d say is now my favorite in town. It’s semi-​private, so you’ll never have to deal with other folks yapping away (unless they’re yapping to themselves, of course) — only two folks allowed in at a time, and I actually always had it to myself. Some clothing is required, but I found I was totally comfy in a sportsbra and running shorts. You also get a private changing room with a shower, so you can hop in and out during your allotted time as you please.
Although it’s technically in the Pearl, it’s in that slightly funky section next to Naito and they don’t have any close neighbors — so parking is easy even though they don’t have a lot. If I lived closer, I’d be there all the time!
