I’m so damn sick of dealing with these guys that I will not continue to purchase here great job you just lost about $400/month due to 0 customer service skills and I expect very little from someone at a gas station.

Friday .25 Icees advertised all over the radio. We went in today and the machines were completely broke. Back to 711 we go!

The usual over priced cenvience store products. Beer, toiletries, soda, energy drinks, gasoline etc. The attendants and clerks strike me as shady and rude. Sometimes the gas attendants seem indifferent and rarely friendly. There’s a guy that works here which my fiancée says has«murder eyes». Have the pleasure of making his acquaintance in the evening on weekdays. This area sort of sucks at night, mamas on the bus keep your baby ducks close. Syoy

I thought what the hell it’s on my way home when I caught them cheating on the price before they learned their lesson right??? Wrong! Not only does the service still suck,(as mentioned by previous reviewers), but once again they were cheating on the price. The sign says 2.259/gal of unleaded. The pump says 2.259/gal. The reciept they give you that no one looks at…2.269/gal. Yes it only cost me .11 on my fill up. Not the point at all. It is dishonest and they are stealing from every person that goes there! Besides the crappy customer service, having to wait in line to «prepay’ cash they don’t even take before the pump starts and then to wait in line again to finally pay is ridiculous. Stealing from the neighborhood and blaming it on the price changes and that they have no control is b.s. I for sure won’t be back, even if I did make them give me my .11!

Terrible service— you have to prepay and then go inside a second time for a receipt and the staff was rude about explaining this inconvenient process —

Clean facilities, good prices, courteous staff. I don’t recommend going there too late at night though.

Soooo, this morning was the THIRD time I was told by the«attendant» behind the cash register(dicking around on his cellphone, by the way) that is was«self serve». Originally from California, I am well familiar with pumping my own gas. However, I thought it was illeagal to pump your own gas here in Oregon? No? This place is dicey. Cheap prices, and up the street from my apartment, yes, but I have seen two attendants clearly in a lovers quarrel(FISTFIGHTONTHEFLOORBEHINDTHESODAMACHINE, yelling at me that they were CLOSED! WTF???). And now this guy saying«self serve». Weirdo place.

This place is horrible. They had one(rude) attendant working and cars piled up waiting for gas… and they only take cash? But they don’t have signs posted and they don’t tell you until you’ve waited a half an hour in line and go inside to pay.

I’m heading toward an appointment and decided to stop for gas. Oh sure I probably could have waited until later when I was heading back, but when I saw these prices, I decided to grab while the grabbin’ is good!
Even thought I don’t have a diesel powered vehicle, I was surprised to see they also sell diesel fuel here(not sure why though). It’s not the newest AM-PM, but it was clean and all there. The one cool thing about being in Oregon is they pump the gas for you AND you still pay these low, low prices! SCHWEET! Hey when you’re used to paying 50 cents a gallon more, $ 3.09 is a bargain!

I was happy when this place underwent a remodel, it has certainly cleaned up. But terrible customer service and one time they actually ran out of gas. A gas station ran out of gas. But then they didn’t even bother putting up a sign saying so. Freezing cold and raining, I get out of my car, stand in line, and THEN dude tells me no gas. Say what?!

The Ghost of Pop-Shoppe Past shall have its revenge… This has been the go-to spot in No-Po for so very many local denizens, for decades. The gas-station carwash that sits kitty corner to this Arco AM-PM on the same intersection of N. Lombard and N. Portsmouth changes owners/mgt/facades every couple years, presumably b/c they simply can’t compete when they insist on charging .15 to .20 per gallon more than the AM-PM, when any genius can easily see how much(cheaper!) the competition right across the street is charging! [As a note of local-cultural interest, some of you may remember that said competitor w/the car wash is the very site of the legendary Pop Shoppe, and as such, every business endeavor to come after ye olde Shoppe is doomed to failure unto eternity. Bring. Back. The. Pop Shoooooopppe!] Two things make this AM/PM hemorrhage potential stars for this review: 1.) Every freakin’ gas pump at every freakin’ AM/PM I’ve ever seen in this state or any other has the credit card slider right there at the pump— yet they STILL make you go inside to pay! Since it is ostensibly more expensive to have pumps w/the credit card sliders than w/o them, why do they waste the money on equipment they never use? Is it a calculated ruse to get customers to part w/a little more hard earned cash buying crap most of us DEFINITELY don’t need, like Pork Rinds or fruit pies or beer or wine in boxes? If so, very clever. 2.) More pertinent directly to this particular AM-PM, they have shut the thing completely down, torn out the pumps(and, I believe the underground tanks too) so many times over the past 25 years I’ve lost count. WTF is the dealy-o??? I know that the majority of No Po is sitting on a couple of major fault-lines — do plate tectonics damage the tanks and force them to be periodically changed, or What. The. Hell??? If so, you’d think that again, the gas station kitty corner would have the same repetitive problems, but I don’t ever recall seeing those being torn out of the ground… Maybe, just MAYBE, the Ghost of the Pop Shoppe wanders the earth and will have no rest till her untimely demise is somehow reckoned… ;p
