Established in 1978.
The Apothecary Shoppe College Store is the product division of the American College of Healthcare Sciences (ACHS). The Apothecary Shoppe prioritizes environmental stewardship and offers a distinguished selection of natural health products, including certified organic herbs and essential oils. The Store services ACHS students and is open to the public. To promote sustainable harvesting, wildcrafting, and preservation of natural resources, ACHS President Dorene Petersen personally visits all Apothecary Shoppe distillers, wildcrafters, and suppliers to ensure ACHS’s dedication to sustainable practices.

Business Owner
American College of Healthcare Sciences (ACHS) President and Founder Dorene Petersen is a New Zealand trained Naturopath with many years of clinical experience. Dorene has dedicated her career to the advancement of the holistic health professions in the United States and abroad. ACHS offers flexible, online programs, qualified faculty, diverse student body, and a commitment to exceptional online education. Serving students in 76 countries, ACHS is recognized as a leader in holistic health education. Dorene serves as Chair of the Aromatherapy Registration Council (ARC), and her articles have appeared in publications worldwide including: Alternative Therapies in Clinical Practice, The News Quarterly, NAHA Aromatherapy Journal, and Massage Magazine. Dorene is also Registered Herbalist with the American Herbalists Guild, and, in 2009, was awarded the Professional Service Award from the International Herb Association for her outstanding contributions to the herb industry.
