One of the last hold outs on Alberta run by a great crew. Cheap beers byof and good times. This is not your grandpas American legion! This is a new beast entirely!

Great place to grab a cheap drink and meet up with your pals, neat nostalgic military club that is open to the public.

The more gentrified Alberta becomes, the more this unique blast from the past stands out. IMAGINE: You are walking down the street taking in the Last Thursday offerings, noticing that week after week the art becomes more and more expensive and the people buying it become more and more Pearlized. Then suddenly you stumble upon the American Legion. The live mullet-head band is playing classic rock under fluorescent lights. Or older vets are plugging«Freebird» into the jukebox. Keith Richards’s doppelgänger is pouring you a $ 1 beer. The rusty 25-cent cashews-and-M-n-M machine calls to you, as well as the signs advertising Sunday night Bingo. You are the most attractive person in the room. You are drawn in, don’t deny it. Like moth to flame.
