Our specialty is pie in a jar, which is a mini pie baked and served in a mason jar. We also bake an assortment of wholesome, old-​fashioned desserts.

History

Established in 2010.

All Jarred Up, Inc. founded by Teri Hiles and Evan Woschnik in 2010, began as an experiment on popular e-​marketplace website Etsy and quickly blossomed into a thriving dessert company. Specializing in travel-​sized pies, cookies and specialty sauces, All Jarred Up fits all of their tasty treats into reusable mason jars, complete with helpful hints to recycling the jar for future uses. Each order is handmade, baked-​to-​order and shipped on the same day to maintain the fresh from the oven taste.

In January of 2013, Teri and Evan moved their lives and business up to Portland, OR to join the ever growing food cart movement. Their full-​service bakery cart is located in Downtown Portland on SW Stark and 2nd. They have also expanded their menu to include custom cakes, full sized pies, cake and pies by the slice, cupcakes, bars, breads, and so much more!

Teri Hiles always felt there was a missing piece in the portable dessert puzzle. An avid pie fan, Teri found a unique way to create travel-​sized pies in mason jars in order to fill the void in an often caked-​out, cookied-​up dessert world. Teri founded the company in 2010, with help from her fiancé Evan Woschnik, and together they created pies, breads and specialty sauces while baking a little love into every morsel.

I stopped by this place after lunch and I got the flowerless chocolate cake and it was by far the best cake I have ever had. The cake was smooth and fudgy, and the best part of it is that I didn’t need to drink a glass of water after eating the whole slice of cake, and I’m not even a cake fan. This place have delivered what a 5 star restaurant can’t.

Handmade treats in a jar? That basically became the focus for All Jarred Up. Still, there are enough non-​jarred items on the menu that merit serious consideration.
On a chilly afternoon, the Truffled Hot Chocolate ($ 2) was a blessing to sip. Pandas like cold temperatures, but prefer to have all ten fingers working properly. The drink (which includes a dollop of whipped cream on top) does take 5 – 6 minutes to prep, but it’s well worth it here. Rich and chocolaty, but not overly sweet.
The Chocolate Toffee Bar ($ 2) is one of the bestsellers. Shortbread crust, creamy center, topped with milk chocolate and toffee bits. Took a good amount of willpower (and not wanting my frigid fingers to fall off) to not eat the entire bar in one sitting.

This place is awesome. I went on opening day and was bummed when they had no pie, but the chocolate cake and toffee made up for it– I was literally drooling for more.
I’ve since returned a few times for the pies which do not disappoint. And the mason jars are so fun. I’ll be back!

Portland’s All Jarred Up is as good as it gets :) Some of the freshest and most delectable pies, sweets and treats around! Seriously good stuff! I’m particular to the Caramel Apple Of My Eye pie, but go ahead and partake in the entire menu; everything is super tasty, handmade and wonderful. Just like Mom used to make :)

One of my «Portland To Do» ‘s was to visit a bunch of food trucks. And, I was most looking forward to this one. Because, a pie in a jar! Unfortunately, but the time we got there (at about 12:30 pm) all the pies in jars were sold out. I was really disappointed. (I’m now reading from another review that they sell them online, on Etsy). However, we still had some great english toffee. Also, they were helpful in locating other «Portlandia» spots (not the TV show. just my made up Portland-​ish word).

Since opening at the corner of 2nd and Stark only a couple of months ago, All Jarred Up’s dessert-​mobile has become and essential part of the local food cart scene. The raisin scones are honestly some of the best I’ve ever had — fluffy, light, not too buttery, and not too crusty. I still feel $ 2 is too much to pay for a scone, but I get that this is the going rate, so I’m willing to fork it out.
At 11am the menu changes from breakfast pastries to deserts, and the pies-​in-​a-​jar are unique and really, really good. Mix in pecan bars, toffee bars, cookies and other tasty treats… my blood sugar goes whacko just contemplating the massive dopamine hit I’m about to receive.
While the prices are a little steep, I think you are getting what you pay for here — quality deserts that are going to set you right no matter what. If you’re in the mood for some sugary goodness, you can’t go wrong here. I know I plan to do my part to help the physical location of this etsy startup succeed whenever the mood strikes.

This is as good as it gets! And when I say good, I mean *good*!! These will be the most devilishly tasty treats your tongue will have ever had the fortunate opportunity to experience. Teri and Evan (the cart owners) have spent years enhancing their menu… and still explore new ways to somehow improve perfection. I would recommend this cart to everyone. Get ready to indulge in a little bite of heaven!

I have a major sweet tooth, so I was ecstatic to see this cart pop up! My boyfriend and I were on our way to the farmer’s market when we saw it, and we went out of our way to hit it up before we headed back home. We got a slice of apple pie, and it was delicious! You could tell that it was made with love. The flavor was a little different than most apple pies I’ve had elsewhere, it was more similar to what I make at home, and had a really nice amount of spice to it so that it wasn’t overly sweet as some apple pies can be. I enjoy baking and usually when I eat baked goods other than my own I find something that I would do in my own baking to improve it, but this pie was perfect. In addition to the pie being delicious, the owners were some of the nicest people ever! I hope that business in their cart is booming, they deserve it!

This is a great little addition to the Portland food cart world. Not only is a great dessert option, but because they are in jars they are easy to take back to your office. Don’t forget to bring the jar back for 50¢ off your next pie too.
I had the pecan pie and it was perfectly done. Not super sweet and overly rich. Even though the jars look small the servings are plenty big.

Not only is PDX super lucky to have Teri and All Jarred Up serving up delicious desserts in their city, the entire country is lucky enough to be able to have her pies shipped straight to your door! Great for events (bridal showers, baby showers, weddings, etc) and holidays (Um, THANKSGIVING!!), All Jarred Up has great customer service and even tastier offerings.

All Jarred Up fills an interesting niche in the downtown food-​truck scene: desserts! Their pies are very tasty and come in a reusable mason jar.
They’ve been in business for a few years selling successfully through Etsy, so hopefully they can use that mojo to succeed as a food truck as well. Worth a taste, definitely give it a try!
