We are also a Total Care Care facility with the ability to perform OEM Scheduled Maintenance and Repairs. We have ASE Certified Technicians and a Nationwide Warranty to back up all of our work! Established in 2004 Aamco Transmissions of Portland has been serving the Greater Portland Area for 10+ Years for all of your Automotive needs. We are a family owned and independently operated Aamco Transmission Center with both owners living and being active members in the Portland Community. Both owners have an extensive working knowledge of the Transmission Industry and both have been involved within the Aamco Family for over 10 years each. We are a small outfit that prides ourselves on Excellent Customer Service and a dedication to the community that we all share.

Adam and Pete C.

Business Owner

Adam and Pete have been the owners of Aamco Transmissions for over 3 years and counting. They have combined over 23 Years of Experience within the Aamco System and even more in the Automotive/​Transmission Industry. Adam and Pete both grew up in Massachusetts and have since relocated to Maine after falling in love with the Greater Portland Area. Adam has been with Aamco for over 8 years working as a Center Manager, Outside Sales Representative and Aamco Corporate as a National Acquisitions Manager. Peter has worked for Aamco Transmissions for over 15 years mainly as a Lead Technician, Transmission Rebuilder And Diagnostician. Peter has an extensive background in the Transmission Industry and has worked as a Transmission Rebuilder in Massachusetts, Georgia, New Hampshire and Maine. Peter is also an ASE Certified Service Technician with other various Automotive Industry Standard accreditations from MACS, Aamco, and miscellaneous Dealership Certifications.
