History

Established in 2013.

The brainchild of Tope Sosanya, lead web developer and photographer, 0101 Design became realized when Tope realized the need for small businesses to improve their online presence.

After a series of successes with local Portland businesses, Tope realized the internet is perhaps the most valuable place to find information and advertise services of a business.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Through his travels and explorations, Tope always had a camera documenting his travels since a young age. Before graduating College he was fortunate enough to travel to Asia, Latin America, and Africa.

At the beginning of the age of digital photography, Tope started to play with digital photography equipment, yet sought to understand the traditional method of photography, and in high school he took manual photography classes where he learned how to use a fully manual camera, and became well versed in composition and printing.

At Occidental College where he earned a Bachelors in Politics and Spanish, he designed websites and posters for events and happenings.

Listening to positive comments about his work and his design skills, he decided to continue in the creative vein.

After graduating Occidental, while working office jobs for non profits, as an in-​home tutor, and classroom teacher in Taiwan, Tope decided to combine these skills, and thus 0101 Design was born.
