Willis Everett Smith graduated from Long Island University in Brooklyn, New York in 1981 with a B.A. Degree in Political Science. In 1982 he entered the Thurgood Marshall School of Law in Houston, Texas and graduated in May of 1985 with a Juris Doctorate degree in Law.

Willis Everett Smith was born in the Bronx New York in 1957. He attended Bayshore Highschool in Bayshore, New York and graduated in 1975. He then graduated from Long Island University in Brooklyn, New York in 1981 with a B.A. Degree in Political Science. In 1982 he entered the Thurgood Marshall School of Law in Houston, Texas and graduated in May of 1985 with a Juris Doctorate degree in Law. In 1987 after working for the Harris County Sheriff’s Department he took and passed the Texas Bar exam and became licensed as an Attorney and Counselor At Law. He has been in the private practice ever since with a concentration in both Family and Criminal Law.
