Awesome friendly staff! Great industrial contemporary ambience inside (or very hipster for short). The first flavor that caught my eye was dat Blue Moon Orange Sorbet. YES, as in the beer!!! Gave that a try and Oh boy! Let me tell you, they do not play around with that Blue Moon. It blasted my mouth with that full signature flavor of the beer with the complementing icy orange. You could quite possibly get drunk off a few spoonfuls of this!
Ended up getting a small combo of Honey Rosemary and Vanilla Bean. Highly recommend this combo as that pure vanilla bean blends well with the fresh tang of the rosemary and sweetness of the honey. Definitely gonna come back for an ice cream panini!

My sister & I wanted to go on an adventure does one sweets & we found ourselves at OWL’s & let me tell you we were not disappointed. We started with some tasty ice cream samples, I think we tried birthday cake & honey Rosemary which were both really good.
My sister ended up getting a unique ice cream panini creation including kit Kat ice cream, resses peanut butter cups & peanut butter spread.
I got the Cookie Monster, which is vanilla ice cream, Oreo cookies, cookie dough, & chocolate fudge, panini pressed between soft & warm sweet bread. This ice cream panini sandwich was delicious. I woke up still thinking about it. I will definitely be back again.

Delicious freshly made ice creams! They also have some really unique flavors from time to time that you’re just not going to find anywhere else. Staff is also always extremely friendly.
They do seem to be a bit understaffed whenever I’m there which means the line can move slowly (every time I’ve been there there’s 1 person serving the ice cream & ringing up customers). Hopefully that’s not a commonality.
The ice cream panini, while delicious and a very unique idea, can be extremely sweet. My wife and I ended up splitting one because she knew there was no way she could eat the whole thing herself. Just keep that in mind.

Incredible tasting ice cream! Wonderful flavors to choose from. Service was great, very friendly. I tried a few flavors before going with the rocky road and tiramisu brownie caramel. Yum!!! And less than four dollars for a small, fitting in those two delicious flavors. I love this place and will definitely be back. Very clean and great ambience… forgot to mention that. Not your average ice cream, upscale clean and creamy tasty ice cream.

It’s a take-​out ice cream in a mason jar, and it’s Tiramisu Brownie flavor (I believe…).
It’s much creamier than average ice cream, and they really do have a lot of flavors. The atmosphere and servers are nice, nothing to complain :) Except I kinda hope they have nutrition label (healthy food addiction sorry…)

I’m so far behind on these mudda-​fudgin reviews. But Let me drop a note about Owl’s…
Porter Ranch… you needed something. Hell, anything. So Owl’s, my friend, is a nice addition to your area. And I give these people an «A» for the effort of trying to bring creative flavors to the ballgame, but there’s still something missing.
Something generic about the ice cream.
Something not really too standout.
Something «meh»…
Do any of you know what I’m talking about? Owl’s doesn’t have the «IT» factor other popular ice cream spots in LA have. Maybe it’s the ingredients used to make the flavors/​ice cream? You tell me.

So my son wanted to go to Coldstones yesterday, so I went to Unilocal to see what was around. We had come to this place when it was a frozen yogurt place. So I figured we’d check this out. Nice presentation. Good service. My son liked the ice cream, he got the salted caramel. (kinda unusual for a 12 yo) It is rich and creamy like it should be. they have cookie ice cream sandwiches and ice cream paninis but we just got the ice cream in the cup. There were a lot of millennials there when we went on a saturday night, and this isn’t by CSUN. How do they afford to pay that much for ice cream?

So glad this ice cream place opened up in the valley (esp up towards the 118). I love the tiramisu brownie, starbucks coffee, kit kat, and strawberry. I still have yet to try the panini since my body does not want those calories, but it looks so good. I’ll give in eventually. I do wish they gave at least 1 free topping and then .50 after that.
I also like the jars that they sell the ice cream in ($ 9)…it looks like a fancy mason jar.
This place is dangerous!

I love ice cream. I love bread. Ice cream and bread together? Not so much. I got the Tiramisu Brownie Caramel ice cream panini and I didn’t find anything special with it. Maybe it’s just me, but I can’t really appreciate the ice cream when it’s inside a bun. Don’t get me wrong, I think their ice cream is good by itself and that’s why I’m giving them 4 stars. They also have good flavors and the ice cream doesn’t melt right away (it was around the 90s that day!)! Friendly service too!
If you haven’t had ice cream panini before, try it and see if it’s your thing. If not, that’s ok. At least you got to try it. Just earn back that $ 5 you lost and when you come back here, just get ice cream on a cone/​cup :)

An decent ice cream/​frozen yogurt place with some interesting combinations.
Honestly thought the ice cream panini is OK, but nothing special. I do like the idea of ice cream topped with frozen yogurt.
The closest ice cream place to my place so I’ll probably be coming here every once in a while.

Come for the ice cream panini. $ 5 worth the ice cream encased in a very warm bread roll!!!
This place is small but cute and modern. It’s pretty far but if you’re ever in the area this place should be on your list to try out before you head out!

This place is all right. I was excited to try their panini and pops.
When I came, they stop selling pops. I ended up getting the panini Cookie Monster. I wanted to see what the hype was about and was excited to try their ice cream.
The Cookie Monster ended up to be nothing special. Their sweet bread did not taste well with the cookie monster concoction. It was like. Sweet overload with a weird sour aftertaste.
There is plenty of parking. The plaza is huge. It’s next to Wells Fargo.

This place is phenomenal, especially on a hot summer day! Friend took me here after hyping it up in the car. Walked in and I fell in love with the décor immediately: very rustic wood-​metal furniture and a simplistic menu, very easy to read! A bit loud however, but that’s to be expected, making their own ice cream.
The server, Sammy, was awesome and gladly gave me some recommendations for flavors that I also got to try. Ended up choosing the Kiwi sorbet and strangely enough, a Blue Moon orange sorbet. The blue moon one really did taste like the beer and it melted in my mouth perfectly.
Ended up staying there to chat for an hour because I loved the environment. Definitely come back if I’m in the area again!

Nice and trendy spot in porter ranch for some refreshing sweets.
Setting: The ambiance here is great. It’s a small place with indoor and outdoor seating. As soon as you walk in you will see the display of ice cream, sorbet, cookies, and a fridge of hand packed ice creams in mason jars.
Food: They have a moderate amount of ice cream flavors to choose from. I ordered the tiramisu and their mint chocolate in a small container and I was very satisfied. The husband got coffee and kit-​kat. Yes, they have kit-​kat ice cream! I tried those too and the sweetness of the kit-​kat wasn’t too overpowering. My niece ordered their cookie-​dough and according to her, the ice cream was yummy but the cookie-​dough was a bit to buttery…
BTW, their small cups hold a good amount of ice cream if you’re looking to just top off your recent meal. But if you’re looking to get down, get a bigger cup size!
Staff: They had 2 male staff working behind the counter and they were both accommodating to a line of people wanting to sample various flavors. It didn’t feel like they were rushing you to make a decision and they were happy to share their opinions on the flavors as well…
Price was reasonable!
I would definitely come back to try the refreshing sorbets next time. Glad to know there’s a local spot like this around the corner.

1 scoop is plenty. The flavors are so true to their name. Chocolate was like eating a slice of dark chocolate cake, mint and brownie was happiness in my mouth. We had lots of samples before making our final decision.

As hype as OWL is, their signs are so basic and not in a trendy way. Their uniforms are cute for the girls wearing them yet the guy looked super dorky like he gets beat up in school.
I ordered a pistachio panini with crunch spread. The first few bites were amazing until the ice cream started to melt and it become more and more troublesome to eat. It made me feel 3 years old all over ago. Just ice cream drip stains around my face, shirt, pants, etc. I tried coffee and pineapple sorbet, yummy. This place is a definite must visit in my book. I also had a small cup of tiramisu brownie caramel, which was tasty in a salty way.

A friend and I were walking from Fridays towards Starbucks to sit and grade papers. We saw this cute little ice cream shop and decided to stop for dessert, but we never made it to Starbucks. There is cute wooden, counter-​style seating with bar stools and a row of outlets right behind it, so we could set up our laptops and get to work.
This place is sweet. I had no idea there was a handmade ice cream place nearby, so I’m super stoked to have found it. The handmade ice cream is DELICIOUS, and everything about the place is so adorable. I don’t normally buy into cottage chic, but this is it, and it is greatness. They have a freezer full of hand-​packed ice cream in mason jars. The ice cream is displayed like gelato, but they have a wide variety of handmade styles and flavors. In the three hours I was there (yes, three hours), I tried the cookies and cream, the pink Himalayan salted caramel, and the mango sorbet. The cookies and cream was chocolatey throughout. The caramel was so incredibly rich that I actually couldn’t finish it. The sorbet tastes truly like fresh fruit. They also have soft serve frozen yogurt.
The staff was incredibly accommodating, and they seemed to be cleaning non-​stop when there was not a line.
Only two things I can that would improve this place:
1) They have this place set up to where you could stay and chill for a while, but they don’t sell beverages, which is a little weird. They have a dispenser with free ice water with lemons, but after I finished my ice cream, I was looking to buy like a fresh lemonade or something like that. Even just a fridge of Hubert’s Lemonade or something like that would be just the thing here, but adding Italian sodas would be PERFECT.
2) The ice cream paninis… they sounded good, but then we realized that they aren’t ice cream sandwiches on cookies, but actually on bread. It’s sweet bread, but still… bread. Just looked too weird. It should be on cookies. Maybe that’s narrow minded of me, but yeah, I at least want the option of cookies.

You can request to sample. We ended up ordering and LOVED the Kit Kat (candy and dessert in one!), Mint n Chip (refreshing and tastes like real mint mmm) and Pistachio ice creams! You can definitely taste the true flavors. Niece enjoyed the sour apple Italian ice with yogurt custard on top

I will say that the staff is very friendly and enthusiastic when you walk in. I love the décor inside… It is very rustic.
I ordered the Cookie Monster Panini and my cousin ordered the first one on the menu handout (The Revolution?) which has brownie and we got it with coffee ice cream because they were out of chocolate.
Mine was definitely better than the other one but I was not a big fan of the bread. It tasted like a McDonald’s hamburger bun/​dry. you could actually share a Panini and the staff was nice enough to cut it in half for us. I would definitely come back here for the ice cream itself!

Owl’s is my 2^nd best friend. This place is great, service is always outstanding, the interior is cute and always clean and overall everything is fantastic. I’ve tried their paninis and samples of the ice cream. The ice cream is sooo delicious and I love the options that they have. The Cookie Monster Panini is delicious it’s hot and melts in your mouth good. My Husband is hooked now too.
$ 4.50 and after taxes it’s $ 4.90 I think that’s a little expensive but that’s just me.
Menu is perfect, very simple, lots of options for the paninis and you can mix and match. They have gelato, frozen yogurt, custard and ice cream. They also have a punch card so make sure you ask for one.
We definitely will be back!

Three words. Ice cream panini. I can stop the review there but I’ll explain this amazing invention. Owls figured out a way to put ice cream in this bread like concoction and as the hot bread encompasses the cold creamy ice cream, you get a few minutes of uninterrupted bliss. If there was one thing I can change about this yummy invention, it would be the type of bread they use.
Owls serves organic ice cream, yogurt, Italian ice, and Popsicles that are all made in house. The guy in the front was awesome and let me taste about every flavor in the store. We ended up with a large cup of salted caramel, cookies & cream, and mint andddd a cookies & cream ice cream panini with Oreo crumbles inside. This little gem knows how to make some creamy ice cream because I was a happy camper. I also love how they have a water container with lemon ice water that’s self serve on the side counter. I’ll be back to try the Popsicles soon!
