Midwest Realty Group was founded on January 1, 1998, by Rick DeKam, after ten years with Preferred Carlson Realtors, a commercial brokerage company. Rick’s goal was to focus on buyer and tenant representation, a segment of the market which he felt was vastly under-​served.

Midwest Realty Group is a boutique commercial real estate firm with a focus on helping our clients achieve their objectives. Our team of professionals analyze your specific situation and develop a unique plan to achieve your objectives. We do not market volume properties under a «one-​size-​fits-​all» process. We approach each property engagement individually, understanding that a tailor-​made solution produces results.

Manager

Rick is the principal of Midwest Realty Group. Rick is a recognized expert in commercial real estate brokerage, development, and management. Rick is proficient in investment analysis, debt structure, contract negotiations, governmental entitlement and other related property issues. Over his career, Rick has represented a number of corporate clients; completed number large land assemblage and entitlement projects; has principally developed a wide variety of commercial facilities; and has consulted and spoken on numerous industry issues. Rick’s real strength beyond his CRE training and 30-​years of experience, is the fact that he brings an owner’s perspective to any engagement and treats his client’s objectives of his own.
