This restaurant serves ok food but they have a history with multiple families of overcharging on the credit card slip. We raised the issue with the Owner but we want to warn other families to compare your slip with your credit card statement.

False advertiser: Check out their website. As of today, 12/20/2015 their website advertises specials every day. I took my family out on Sunday for the«buy one entrée, get the second ½-price». They didn’t honor the promotion even though I showed them a picture I took from my phone of the web page special. Went back when owner was there and he didn’t honor it either. This is illegal false advertising. He said he hasn’t honored the advertised special since June 2015! Very unfortunate for him, because we liked our meals. Penny wise, pound foolish.

Delicious and wonderful service. Came for lunch today and had the fajitas with shrimp. Also was good for kids– my daughter liked the quesadillas. Yum!

This place is great for a younger crowd at the bar or at their back tables. It has drinks, sports on the TVs and good food. Definitely a great place to meet up with people when you are home visiting your family.

I wanted to be delighted, and I wanted to be satisfied. I wanted to have reason for a hyperbolic 5-star review. Most unfortunately, it didn’t work out that way. Although the service was quite friendly and attentive, and the vegetable fajitas were cooked to perfection and not at all greasy, my meal lacked flavor. Cheese enchiladas were also ordered, and also lacked customary Mexican seasonings in adequate quantity. The margarita was so-so. Granted, being native Southern Californians, the bar is set high for Mexican food. But even so, this just didn’t come close.

My favorite place for seafood cerviche, skirt steak, guacomole and chips with mojitos or sangria! Nice ambiance! Try it!

This is a good mexican restaurant if you enjoy paying $ 16 for $ 2 of yellow rice wrapped in a flour tortilla and a few black beans. Oh, and don’t expect the food to come to the table hot either. Honestly, I don’t know how restaurants like these are able to stay open. There must be a lot of suckers in the Port!

This place is awesome! The food actually tastes like it’s made from a true Mexican recipe, and isn’t americanized: nachos were delicious and weren’t covered in sour cream and the ceviche tastes like a traditional ceviche. Chicken fajitas were delicious. I ordered a mojito and it was definitely water downed but hey — I should have known better and ordered something stronger. The atmosphere could be a lot better and I don’t think this restaurant gets enough credit because of it’s look and feel. I’ve see customers walk in and leave once they’re in the restaurant due to its poor interior decorating.

The food was amazing! And the mojitos are excellent as well. Would’ve given 5 stars but the service seemed a little dry, the waiter didn’t seem friendly. Would still go back just for the delicious food!

About a week after mojtos opened we went there for dinner. When we got there we thought it would probably be one of our favorite places to eat at. My husband, oldest, middle, younger daughter, and I all got nachos and guacamole. My husband and middle daughter got food poisoning from it and the rest if us got really bad stomach aches. We have never gone there again.

I’ve been here twice so far and I have to say that it is very pricey for what you get. The guac alone is $ 12. Entrees run $ 16+. All this would be fine if the food is delicious but the food is SALTY!!! Salty guac with salted chips. I ordered the steak thing(sorry I can’t remember what it was called) which was super salty. I ate rice with it, hoping it would make it less salty but the rice was salted too so nothing helped. My friend also got a piña colata and I never had such a bad one… I don’t know, there was something wrong… tasted like too much milk? Anyway, I would skip this place…

I really enjoy this restaurant. My wife and I go here often – the nachos are really good. I usually get the chimichangas and my wife almost always gets the taco salad. The sangria is also tasty – all in all one of our favorite Mexican places in the area!

They call this place Mojito for a reason… go for the pitcher, full sized! They are amazing. This place is a cute little mexican style restaurant. The food is pretty good and the drinks are amazing. The waitstaff is friendly and attentive. I’ve been here twice and see myself coming back. Definitely for dinner. and the mojitos.

What an awful dining experience. Even though tables were available, they lied to us about tables being reserved and sat us in the back next to fruit fly covered walls. The menu was overpriced and lacked authentic flavor. The Churasco was far from the best I’ve had. When I left I saw all the tables that I was told were reserved empty!!! $ 112 check for 2 people and felt like I was lied to!!!

Lived in Port for 30+ years and seen places come and go. Mojito will most likely be yet another to go which is a shame because they have a decent location and we could always use another good eatery. Food is bland though it was fresh. Had the veggie burrito but had a tough time finding the vegetables through the beans and rice. Very cafeteria-like plate presentation and absolutely no taste. My wife had the fish tacos which, again while fresh, didn’t taste like anything. The guacamole app was attractive enough but seemed to be cut with mayo; again bland. Those three items and two beers came to $ 61. Could have done much better taking out from Green Cactus in Roslyn and drinking my own beer at home. Pity.

After seeing the cute storefront with the scribbled«MOJITO» i had to try this place. Who doesnt love mojitos? The name just drew me in, the food on the other hand wasnt so appealing. Mojito Café is another one of those small restaurants in the neighborhood that is decent, yet nothing special. A friend and i stopped in for a quiet lunch and found the place cozy and comforable. –I ordered the chicken fajitas which were honestly a bit too greasy for my taste and my friend ordered the arroz con pollo. He also thought the meal was ok but a bit disapointed by the overall presentation and taste of the dish. I do like that the resturant appears to very clean and our waiter was very attentive and kind. i don’t know if i’ll be coming back to Mojito’s though, there are much better and more authentic mexican local restaurants. Sorry Mojito! I still love the name if you didnt notice, its very cute!

Just moved to Port Washington and have been trying all the local restaurants. We LOVE this place. The food is delicious and they have great drinks as well. Would definitely recommend!
