Specialties
Lake Shore Dance believes in the power of dance in children’s lives and in our community. Children who dance at Lake Shore Dance learn to love movement and learn to enjoy physical fitness at a young age. This turns into an overall feeling of well-being and a healthy lifestyle throughout their lifetime. Faculty members at Lake Shore Dance reinforce good manners and social mannerisms which carry into children’s lives. Students learn discipline through participation in dance class and perseverance to handle challenges head on. Finally, Lake Shore Dance believe that capturing and encouraging the youthful spirit of freedom and creativity in movement creates artists that see the world with an open mind and an open heart.
At Lake Shore Dance, all students, of all skill levels, ages, and committment levels are treated and taught equally and as a result, all of Lake Shore Dance students become strong, artistic dancers.
History
Established in 1993.
Lake Shore Dance was established in 1993 with a focus on offering well-rounded, quality dance education for children. Our unique education system of training dancers makes our program the choice for both serious dancers and recreational dancers and assures that every dancer receives the same dance training and chance for success.
Our dance training, coupled with friendly front-desk staff and modern convienences of online registration and account management attests to our committment to excellence. Because of this, Lake Shore Dance has grown to three locations in Southeastern Wisconsin in our twenty years in business.
We are an integral part of the Ozaukee and Washington county areas. Since we opened, our dancers have performed in major community events and has presented «The Nutcracker Ballet» for schools and the community. Also, dancers raise funds during the summer and donate all of their proceeds from their benefit concert to local non-profits donating over $ 30 000 to date.
