Stopped in for the first time on a recent visit to the area. I’m something of a smoked fish connoisseur, having had it from some of the best smokehouses in the Pacific Northwest and having smoked my own for the past 20 years. Ewig Bros is up there with the very best I’ve had. I started digging into my first piece as I was driving out of the lot and had to stop the car to go back in the store and buy a whole bunch more. I’m glad to know they ship and am thinking about leaving my smokers behind when I move back to the area. Thanks Ewig Bros, I shall return…

This sea food & smoke house sell’s the best on site smoked fish, chubs may be gone but the son now owner as Gene has retired, has done a great job in looking for other types of fish to smoke, the types of smoked samon fresh are all great! dill being my choice, The smoked fish spread as good as my Grandmothers when she was head cook at Smith Bro’s,
Now sea food frozen selection looks small but from lobster to shrimp and scallops he has it all, also they smoke your fish if you bring them in this is a clasic and well worth a visit in your trip to Port Washington!
