Description

Specialties

Home made soups/salads, specialty sandwiches on baked artisan breads, and scrumptious deserts!

Located on a dock/deck adjacent to the Port Washington marina.

History

Established in 1999.

Dockside was founded by MaryAnn Voigt through her passion to compose soups of incredible flavor from fresh/scratch ingredients.

She founded Dockside when the waterfront ice-cream parlor operator had left for another State — leaving the parlor in great need of repair. She worked with local architects and builders in developing the original site and expanded 10 years later — with increasing customer needs/growth.

Dockside is a familial atmosphere with staff from the area — populated by students who help support college tuition needs.

Located along the Ozaukee Bike Path brings lots of voracious appetites — nearly always happy with their dining/snack experience.

Meet the Business Owner

MaryAnn V.

Business Owner

MaryAnn was born on Milwaukee’s North side of first generation Hungarian descent and loved to watch her mom (Mary Hartung) prepare scrumptious meals — always from scratch. From soups to stollen, all of her experience was the «dash of this and pinch of that» artisan knowledge.

Subsequent to her parochial high school education, she joined her husband — Don — in founding a well known water treatment company — Energenecs of Cedarburg — where she was the manager of customer service. Here, she learned the true importance of customer loyalty… a trait which she hopes you experience at Dockside!

As customers have become loyal and persistent, she her staff has supported her in more than doubling the site/space in 2009. MaryAnn is, now, supported by a close knit group of local staff who carry on the strong tradition of flavorful entrées and associated deserts!
