Formerly known as Joan Smith Flowers, Amaranthus on Main has operated continuously since 1985. Visit our historic storefront built in 1932 and still featuring it’s original signature tin ceilings. I used Joan’s Flowers for Mother’s Day flowers and my mother, who is very discerning on flower, was absolutely thrilled with the arrangement. Moreover, the florist called and followed up with me the day after I placed my order to make sure I gave them the contents for the included card. In Port Washington there are a number of florists whose work is just average. Not so at Joan Smith’s Flower Shop. When I first walked in I thought it was a home accessory store but in actuality the store is a florist and the work that is done there is anything but ordinary. Highly, Highly recommend.-RJ
