Dang, I can’t remember her name right now, but there’s a cashier there who every time makes me feel like I’m suddenly having the greatest day. She makes jokes, chums it up big time.
One time I was browsing the 50% off baked goods rack and found this double chocolate chip cookie sandwich filled with gobs of chocolate frosting and I ate about three bites before realizing I enjoyed my life more than eating that cookie sandwich thing.

This is my local go-​to supermarket. They usually have what I am looking for and the store is clean and well organized. Most importantly to me is that in my 7 years of doing business with them every single employee has been friendly and helpful.

when we arrived in port townsend on thanksgiving night the migraine that i had off and on for the past week was starting to flare up again. so, we pulled into the QFC for some excedrine migraine pillage that my sister recommended. he stayed in the car while i ran in really quick.
when i came out i had my arms full of stuff – a box of stovetop, a can of french crispy thingys you sprinkle on top of green bean casserole, a can of pumpkin pie mix and two tall boys of rainier. he asked me if i bought any headache medicine and i handed him a vitamin R. needless to say we had a great thanksgiving. thanks, QFC, for helping us have a great holiday! :)
