this place has perfect ice cream shop ambiance, including a swinging booth to eat your sundae. Also really appreciate the vegan options. Thanks!

The dark chocolate peanut butter cups have spoiled me forever. No others compare. Their ice cream is great — just remember to take a number if it is busy. They really do use that system. Bus your table! Kind of a chocoholic — get the sea foam, turtles, almond bark and the chocolate covered orange slices and apricots. You will not want to eat chocolate from anywhere else. Luckily found a spot in Edmonds that also carries their chocolates, when I can’t make it to PT!

Super fun ice cream and candy shop. All kinds of delicious options for ice cream, packaged candy and chocolates — the caramels are amazing!

What a wonderful spot! We were tempted to turn around when we saw the line but were amazed with how efficient they all were while remaining fun and professional. Its clear they all like working together which added to the light atmosphere. And despite the crowd they take care of you like you’re the only one there. The ginger snap was awesome but I tend to stick with vanilla. The smell of waffle cones drew us in and when we learned they had run out I wanted to start an uprising. Thankfully I resisted and took my delicious standard cone to the car to enjoy!

Stopped in on a family vacation to get some ice cream. Was greeted with a rude«take a number» so we did, when we got the counter the server was not in a good mood, he was impatiently waiting on us while my kids tried the different flavors. While serving us he continued yelling«take a number» while people came in, it felt kind of like a feed mill. This should be a fun happy place but it was not, I am leaving 3 stars because the ice cream is good and the Italian ice even better, but the service was not good at all.

Take a number, take a sample, then enjoy the great homemade flavors that are offered. Great location right on the water.

The whole family visited Port Townsend this weekend for my daughter’s birthday. After some fun at Fort Worden State Park we went on to the main town for some shopping then ice cream at Elevated Ice Cream & candy shop. Great selection of ice cream flavors for the kids, and they surely enjoyed the swing giraffe seats for kids and adults. Then on the second day we are back but this time with my dog, it is great to know there’s an outdoor sitting to enjoy the ice cream and coffee. And amazingly for an ice cream restaurant, I had the best coffee that day!

The ice cream was good, bit not extraordinary. I had a medium scoop of raspberry and truffle mint. My boys had vanilla and oreo. After the first lick my son’s ice cream rolled off the cone landed on his shirt and then his arm. I was able to rescue it, but when I tried to put it back on the cone, it crumbled. Then we were both sticky.

It’s all true. Delicious ice cream. All made locally. Sumptuous flavors. I had Marionberry sherbet and Blind Love chocolate. It was a quiet Monday, but this place was doing a steady business. Reasonably priced. Cute little shop in downtown Port Townsend.

Came here on a Friday evening @8pm. Our server was courteous and that was appreciated since my husband needed time to figure out what he wanted. I had a scoop of a popular chocolate flavor Blind Love in a waffle cone and husband had a hot fudge sundae. Both were good. Will definitely return.

We found this little ice cream/candy shop on Unilocal as we were visiting Port Townsend while staying at Fort Flagler. We stopped in and were helped right away, we were the only ones in the place early in the morning, the ice cream flavors were delicious and I thought very reasonable. They make their own ice cream so it was light airy and creamy. You pay by the ounce which is nice. The older gal helping us is what killed a star. She was not very friendly at all. In fact, she barely said a dozen words to us. It seemed like she really didnt want to be there and was not interested in any small talk at all. I can see how they slow down when busy because they take everyones order first, then scoop, then weigh, then you pay, then they hand them out. So it is a slow process but we were on vacation so whatever. The americano coffee was amazing. Some of the best coffee I have had. The candy shop was super cute and the pecan roll was one of the best I have ever had(and I am a big fan of them and have tried a lot). Their prices were reasonable on that side of the shop as well. The only thing holding this place back from 5 stars was the service. Come on lady, act a little friendlier to the people paying your bills ok? I don”t need my hiney kissed but maybe a smile? Otherwise — BRAVO — support local businesses!

My family came here and had some ice cream. I had the toasted coconut, hubby had hazelnut amaretto, daughter had raspberry sherbet, & son had Oreo. All were good. Why the 2-star? Well, we couldn’t get over the disappointment of opening the quart of ice cream that we took back to our hotel to consume later. What was supposed to be Spumoni turned out something else that we couldn’t figure out the flavor. Not only could we not figure it out, but it was horrible! Threw it away! $ 7 wasted! If you’re getting a quart to go, CHECKITFIRST!

Sluuuuuuuuuuuuuuuurp. Had the most delicious amaretto hazelnut milkshake ever at Elevated. Holy jeebus, I couldn’t put it down even when I was a) super full after a hefty dinner, and b) lactose intolerant. In fact, my boyfriend even got a super chocolatey hot cocoa to go so that we could stay warm walking back to our hotel. And if that wasn’t bad enough, I went next door to its adjoining candy store and got a bag full of assorted gummies! Gonna need my stomach pumped and some major dental work, but I would definitely recommend this place for dessert in town. It’s super close(walkable) to everything you could possibly want.

This review is for the chocolates only. Every year I end up eating a couple of boxes of chocolates that I had purchased as gifts for friends. The chocolate they use is high quality, more like See’s Candies than Hershey’s. In particular I love the milk chocolate nut clusters, with and without caramel. I also enjoy the Petit Fours and the butter creams. The chocolates are fresh, lack any chemical aftertaste and are simply delicious. Mostly made locally in beautiful Port Townsend.

I really like this place. It’s a good old-fashioned ice cream parlor that reminds me of my childhood. I wish it were closer to Seattle! They have a lot of different flavors that I like even though they aren’t super fancy flavors. It’s more like mint chocolate chip and strawberry rather than salted caramel and ube. My favorite thing about Elevated’s is that the ice cream is sold by the ounce. I like that it means I could ask for 3 ounces of ice cream and get it… not that I would, though! I believe it is currently 68 cents an ounce.

Everyone raved about this place — guess we missed the way it must have been because today sure was not worth the time — all of us agreed. First of all there is a Very Long wait. They are slow and a little busy but mostly seem to be slow. I had the strawberry ice cream and it had chunks of ice pieces in the ice cream. I though it might be strawberries but upon checking and asking — it was ice. One of us ordered an espresso ice cream. It is supposed to have Whip Cream on it — had to go back and ask — and it was a real tiny scoop of ice cream in a glass — only 1⁄3(at most) of glass filled. Very disappointing. The ice cream float was OK — but you have to buy a can of pop — which is OK but then she pours in what fills up the glass and throws out the rest — when I asked her about it she said she didn’t think I would want it. No I didn’t want to pay the high price for the ¾ of the can. Our server also spent a lot of time standing around waiting to ask questions — delaying our order. I asked for the manager and got the typical answer, «Oh her — she is new and being trained» BY whom. The manager is hiding in the back — in the hour we were there we only saw her once. This is in the middle of a beautiful sunny warm Sunday — shouldn’t the manger be training? That is why a lot was wrong. The manager did offer either a gift certificate or a refund. I declined both — will never return so certificate is no going to help and we did eat the poor quality ice cream we received.

Took a quick drive up to Port Townsend since it was such a great day to drive! When you see a store stating homemade ice cream over another, to me it’s a no brainer. After grabbing a ticket like I was in a deli, I waited with everyone else looking over the selection. My eyes went to Blind Love(the self proclaimed richest and most chocolately flavor). When the guy behind the counter came over and my girlfriend and I asked to taste Blind Love and Sweet Cream. He seemed bothered by that. Luckily for her she did since she didn’t like it. The Sweet Cream wasn’t that good so she went for chocolate and I went for the blind love. Neither were overly chocolately and the only difference was the chocolate pieces in mine. I think next time I am in PT, I might try the other ice cream joint to see what they have.

Saw this place online so we went in to try it. Not at all impressed. Not enough flavors I prefer(no pralines and cream or caramel anything). I went with banana and it was ok but I agree with another reviewer on Unilocal that its not fantastic. I didnt get a good vibe from any of the staff, they were just kind of there, no enthusiasm at all. Not friendly or happy. The restroom was filthy, not much cleaner than one at a gas station. However the waffle cone was super fresh and crispy, best thing about this place. Overall this place was a disappointment.

I loved Elevated Ice Cream’s lavender flavors sold at farms in Sequim so much that I sought after their home base in Port Townsend. It got even better with August’s flavor of the month, a scoop of creamy brightly citric Lemon Custard. Being from the East Coast, where ice cream is king, I was happy to be impressed with the ice cream craftmanship. I wanted to try another unique Northwest flavor, so I went with a scoop of Butter Brickle. Originating from Nebraska in the seventies, Butter Brickle is so similar to Heath Bar that it made me ponder if it was just delicious caramel-crunchy Heath Bar ice cream. The answer is no way: it is Butter Brickle man.
