Lefty’s Wings & Raw Bar

Gets our order wrong literally every single time we order. We keep giving them another shot because we do love their wings and they used to usually get our order right. But over the last 6 months our order is wrong every time. We’ve been coming here for 10 years & it sucks that we will have to look for a new great wing place.

I wasn’t sure what I could expect from this place but it did not exceed it. First off, it was a Monday night and I had a party of four with me. There were maybe two or three occupied tables in the whole restaurant but it took nearly an hour and fifteen minutes to receive our food. The waitress came back at least 4 – 5 times asking if everything is okay (we had nothing to tell her after the third time…“the water is still good?”) but never mentioned the eta of our food.
Speaking of food… I ordered the garlic shrimp. Now without any description of the item it was safe to assume it would maybe be tossed in some garlic sort of sauce and sit on a plate with some veggies or something on the side. Not even close. I got a wooden bowl that held a ½ cup of melted butter, a small pinch full of minced garlic and 5 sad, over cooked shrimp. I also ordered the vegetable medley. Another poor choice. They came back cold, soggy and somehow oily without any seasoning.
The waitress also seemed to be pushing us out and tried giving my friend his check while he still had his hands full with a chicken wing doused in sauce instead of just placing it on the table. It was just such a strange and unpleasant experience. I won’t be returning.

If you are a wings lover, this place is for you! I love these wings! They’re the best I’ve ever had. Awesome staff and bar. Whenever I’m in area, Lefty’s is a must! I wish there was a location near me because I would be there all the time.
I’ve also had the patty melt and potato skins and it was delicious as well.

I had the best time ever. Saturday was my second time there. Had a guy the first time. He was by far the worst. Maybe 10 people at the bar but yet he couldn’t get me a refill. Guess the better service is with the servers. My burger was amazing.

Mac & Cheese bites tasted like Kraft mac & cheese fried in a flavorless batter. My husband’s Philly Cheesesteak was burnt and inedible. The burger I got was pretty good, but I wound up getting sick later that night. Better places around town.

We moved to Port Saint Lucie in 2009 and this quickly became our go to place for good food in a family friendly atmosphere. However there food has become hit or miss over the past year, the service is what has kept us coming back. Today is officially our last time we will be returning. My wife and I ordered the wings my 12 year old son ordered off the children’s menu, my wife ordered her wings well done my wings were ordered with no special request much like my sons. When food arrived at table my wife’s wings were very crisp the way she likes, my son and I our wings were soggy and not very warm my thought is they plated our wings as my wife’s continued to cook. The bigger issue is that the wings varied in size so greatly that the larger wings were still pink and had blood lines near the bone. When the waitress returned to check on us I mention that my wings were not cooked enough, she offered to take them back to the kitchen and have them cooked a little longer. I politely declined, I don’t think twice cooked wings would be very appetizing especially after having the sauce on them. Truth be told I was already grossed out. Back to the kids meal, the kids meal includes a beverage when our server brought out our drinks she brought full size drinks for everybody as she should have. The problem came when the check arrived, I questioned the charge for my sons drink. The waitress explained to me that the kids meal comes with a small styrofoam cup sized beverage witch she offered to bring as I was paying the bill witch by the way included the charge for all the wings that were ordered. When she returned with my credit card I ask how many times she though she would have been walking back and forth to refill the child size cup I pointed out it was probably to her advantage that she brought the full size cup, much like every other server has done for the last 4 years when my son out grew that small styrofoam cup. Back to the wings it’s not rocket science if you have a wing that is 1 oz and a wing that is 2 oz the larger wing should probably cook a little longer. I know that the old management and cook have moved on and started Gator Tails a more upscale sports bar just west of Leftys. Unfortunately for Gator Tails wings are not a upscale food. I’m not writing this review to try and discourage anyone from trying Leftys I’m writing in hopes that the ownership can take the steps necessary to save there business before it ends up like there Davie location. I would like to point out that if your experience does not meet your expectations then you may wish to try Thirsty Turtle about 3 miles west of Leftys or Charlie’s in Stuart they both have great wings much like Leftys did back when it became our go to place. In closing I would like to wish Leftys the best of luck, and remind anyone reading this of something my Father always used to say. COMMONSENSE IS NOT VERY COMMON !!!

Must say this is our go to restaurant on Sundays!!! I love love love their wings!!! They have a bunch of flavors but my fav are their chili wings. Yum!!! They are very family friendly and really overall excellent food!!! Pretty upset they don’t have the Taylor ham egg and cheese sandwich anymore but that doesn’t keep us from going back there !!

I’m not a big fan here, but my husband is he likes the shrimp. I had the dolphin sandwich with curly fries. The dolphin kinda had an after taste the fries were good. The place is casual and laid back .it took quite a bit of time to get our food yesterday even though they were not crowded. But the waitress said they were short handed today.

My first visit will be my last visit. My husband and I went out for a quick bite to eat before a movie. The parking lot is pretty much a nightmare getting in and out of. Once we made it inside, the hostess sat us rather quickly. The booths are bench seats made of wood with a wood back on them. If you look down between the cracks in the wood it’s pretty dirty. I had a child sitting behind me who continued to bang against the seat which was annoying but tolerable. It definitely is not the restaurants fault. Service was slow but we ordered the fried pickles for an appetizer. They were served with a mediocre ranch sauce. Nothing special. We also ordered wings for dinner. I ordered the raspberry wings which smelled pretty rancid when they brought them out. I was disappointed to find the sauce was basically a raspberry vinaigrette dressing that you would put on a salad. Gross and inedible. I ended up sending them back. My husband ordered teriyaki wings and they were not as bad. The wings were all different sizes some were overcooked, some were cooked too little. The waitress was friendly enough and took the raspberry wings off the check.

We came here for steak caesar salad and our waitress said no and they can not do it at any price! Its amazing to me that they can have a sirloin quesadilla but no steak for a salad. Just silly stuff like that makes me wonder how places like this stay open. Well at least I remember why i stopped coming here. (Sitting with a empty cup)!

Mandy is a sweetheart… The bar was kind of dead… she let us stay late to eat some wings… Unfortunately they close to early

Went here with my wife for happy hour the staff was friendly and helpfull. The beer was cold and the wings were good. Will be going back.
Thanks Leftys

Haven’t been here in awhile, they have really went downhill. We waited over 30 minutes for 16 boneless wings, when we finally got them the size of the wings were ridiculously small, smaller than I’ve ever gotten here. I’m extremely disappointed. Probably won’t come back, and will definitely quit referring people here.

I had the chicken cob salad my husband had ½ lb hamburger. Service was great food was better. I definitely have to put this on my come back to list.

Service is super slow. Parking can be an adventure since it’s in a densely populated strip mall.
I had the wings since it’s their specialty. Meh. Typical bar food. It’s cheap though.
Trivia on Tues nights

Food was really good but the service was lacking. They could have sold me 2 more drinks but they never asked.

I have a certain amount of romantic attachment to this establishment as it was here that I asked my (at the time) future father-in-law’s permission to propose to his daughter.
My wife (girlfriend at the time) had purchased an investment house in the area and her parent’s settled into retirement life. We’d shoot down as often as we could, enjoy the rays and beautiful Treasure Coast beaches and her father would bring me to Lefty’s at least once every trip. I probably visited Lefty’s 6 or 7 times between 2007 and 2009.
IMHO, Lefty’s is Florida’s strip-​mall version of a local neighborhood bar. The wings are decent, the beer selection is ample and the service comes with a smile. It’s a great game-​day bar with a laid back atmosphere.

Food: Got the dolphin fish dinner. It was good. It was a bit overdone but seasoned beautifully. Pretty big portion for a dinner. ⁴⁄₅
Service: The kitchen was running really slow. We waited over 50 minutes for our food. The place was not busy at all. The waiter was okay. We had to ask to refill every drinks. ³⁄₅
Atmosphere: It was okay decoration. It was a bit out of date. But it is a local sports bar and they tried to do the seafood/​fish style décor. It was random to see arcade games in the middle of the bar area. 2.5÷5

–Dolphin sandwich came with the option of curly fries and wheat bun
–The curly fries were extremely delicious, well done and crispy
–The Dolphin was good well and it came out tender and fairly easy to cut with a fork though there wasn’t much flavor. That’s where the tartar sauce came in to the rescue.
