Florida Pit Bull Rescue: We do not have a facility. We are a Foster Home Network Rescue. We will Rescue and Re-​home the «Pit Bull» type Dogs that are in need of help! We will pull the Dogs from surrounding Animal Shelters who most of which have been scheduled for euthanasia. We will also work with Owners who are seeking to surrender their dogs. We try to find the reason for the surrender and if at all possible try to keep the dog in its home. If that is not viable and we have an available spot, we will then take the Dog into our Rescue. We hold Education paramount in our Rescue! We promote responsible dog ownership and also Awareness for «Pit Bulls»

History

Established in 2010.

We were Founded by Eric Emminger on October 15, 2010. Our first year was a pretty bumpy year and very costly to start up our Rescue and launch. We officially filed for our 501©(3) Not-​for-​Profit status in the beginning of February, 2011. We received approval from the IRS in August of 2011 granting us the Federal Tax Exemption status making everybody’s donations both materialistic and monetary… Tax Deductible!
