My experience with this company is that they are incompetent, and do not know how to service equipment that they installed. Total disbelief as to how un-​educated these people are with the newer refrigerant R410a, thinking you can just top off a system running r410a with more refrigerant… What they have done is contaminated my system with non-​condensables. And now during the day when its 90+ degrees outside, my air doesn’t work. But when it gets night, and the outside temp drops, my ac will work no problem.
To fix my problem, they first need to send a real technician with the proper tools and vehicle. Then he needs to make sure he has a recovery system to pull all the refrigerant out of my system. Then he needs shoot some nitrogen into my system to try to dry up and make sure there isn’t any leaks. Then they need to hook up a evacuation system (vacuum pump) and get the system to hold a vacuum for a few hours. Then once all that is done correctly, then they can put in the r410a using a scale. Once that is all done properly, the system is repaired…
But the «wanna be tech» secretary tried giving me the run around as to why my system wasn’t cooling.
And if you send a technician back to my house who isn’t driving a proper company vehicle, I won’t even let them touch the unit… Because I obviously know a little more about this, than this company…

While visiting my mom in FL, her AC went out. She got estimates from 3 companies but based on price and the recommendation by many Neighbors she chose Port Orange AC & Heating. It seems to be a small family run business and they are excellent. They evaluated the AC system and were in agreement with the other companies that it needed replacement. Then I received a quote from Tony, scheduled the work and had a new AC system put in within days. They were very nice to work with and patiently showed us how to work everything. I would HIGHLY recommend this company to others.
