The wait for food Friday night was extremely long. There was not a large crowd tables were empty but the kitchen service was terrible. When the food finally came out it was cold, terrible and not worth the price. Avoid this place at all cost.

Excellent location and amazing live entertainment. Service is poor. Servers are rude and trashy and racist. First server asked us to cash out at shift change. Second Server refused to service table but did service neighboring tables. Server told musician (who just so happen to also be African American) to turn down music as other diners were complaining.

Went Sat evening, was sat at dirty table and after 15min, no one came to the table. Left and advised the hostess, she could care less. Last time there.

Kursten at the bar took great care of me and my crab legs feast! #1 service. She made sure that my drink was cold and full. As a occasional patron its always good to see great service.

Wow! Great dinner nice outdoor atmosphere! We had the catch of the day– Grouper which was prepared grilled spices were excellent. Liked the Mango Margarita

We live locally and saw an article this week in the local HomeTown News on this restaurant and we’re dying to try it. Great article but man, was it deceptive. What we experienced after eating there… I bet the owners wrote the article.
The place was almost empty, with only scattered customers here and there. The bartenders and staff are obviously salesmen and the drinks were watered down. We had to ask for and pay for an additional shot in the martini. It was all water. The food was less than desirable as well… a total let down. We ordered the rib eye, which they bragged was hand cut and perfectly cooked. It was $ 24 and was less than ½ inch thick, was fatty and desperately needed seasoning. We really should have known better… and not ordered a dinner. As a restaurant I have to give it a one star for food. Maybe it would be better for bar food, burgers, apps but I’m not hurrying back to try it! Our bill with tip was $ 99. Yikes! This was expensive and not fun!
P. S. Warning: Do not go there unless the temperature is under 80 degrees. There is no air conditioning in any part of the restaurant and the ceiling fans were just twirling around on low.
Not a great experience and yes, we’ve had better in most every other restaurant in the area.

We loved this place! It’s hard to find decent food with outdoor seating. We arrived late one night, but they were very kind and accommodating. They set up citronella candles and fans to keep the mosquitos away. It worked like a charm. The décor is really cool with lots of nautical artifacts. We ate shrimp tacos, chicken wings, onion rings, soft shell crab po-​boy and kids spaghetti. The portions were huge (even the kids’ meal) and the food was very tasty. If you take your receipt to their other location in Ponce Inlet, they will give you a free fish dip. If our boat had not been acting up, we would have taken advantage of that deal. We’ll be back for sure!

I went there when they first opened a few years back, eagerly wanting to experience their food and I just sat there, with a great view of the water, for at least an hour with absolutely no other customers there at all. In all that time no one came to take my order, and they’d seen me come in. So I left.
About a year or so later, I was driving down Ridgewood with my dad and he says «Hey, let’s try that place», and I told him about my previous experience, but he wanted to try it anyways. So we walked in, got seated, the restaurant was again completely deserted except for us, and guess what?
You got it – again we just sat there, admiring the water, for about an hour and a half, and nobody came to take our orders, so we left.
And so nowadays, whenever I happen to drive by this place, I just can’t help myself: as I’m driving by, my middle finger gets a mind of its own and just pops up in this restaurant’s direction. This place is now notorious in my book and, no, I’m not giving it any more chances.

They’ve changed the menu a bit but it still has a nice variety to offer. Coconut shrimp and gator tail bites for my husband and we were pretty happy. Nice spot right on Rose Bay, also now features a variety of small watercraft rentals. Great place for a cold beer right on the river. Beware, after dusk we had the little biting «no see-​ums» come after us. Maybe some natural insect repellent would be a good thing around to offer guests. They aren’t there all the time but the night we were there were enough to keep me swatting at my legs.

Awesome service, drinks. The bloody mary was delicious. Pretty cool décor, one of a kind bar for sure. I ordered the friday surf and turf special, which included prime rib and halibut. The grilled halibut was amazing, while the prime rib was a bit more like a chunk of roast beef, in taste a texture (too short of cooking time at too high of a temperature) Also, the house wine offered as free with a check-​in is not worth asking for.

3 ½ stars. Overall a good experience for a group of five adults and three children. One person ordered medium well burger that still wasn’t done even after returning it once and wasn’t taken off the bill, although the parts that were edible were good. The seafood salad was a bit light on the variety of vegetables, but kids chicken tenders, another burger, other salad, salad dressings and wings were all excellent. Take out the one bad burger and we would have given it four and a half stars.

I ordered a grilled cod taco and that is not what I received, either it was blackened with some spices or not cod. The fish had an iodine taste which is very unusual for cod.
My friend had a cod platter and agreed what was in my taco did not taste like his.
I was disappointed.

I really like this place, it’s a cool atmosphere almost from a movie, the reviews are accurate the staff wasn’t very friendly. The menu doesn’t have the largest selection but I enjoyed the food, the music was good and it was nice seeing the Pelicans on the deck and being out by the water, it would be nice at dusk.

Fun atmosphere don’t get the combo appetizer. Blows for a hefty 16 bucks. The first bartender we had greenish blue hair. She had a very bad attitude, snappy an was not very willing to be helpful. Won’t she left an we had the next one sorry forgot her name too but she was the exact opposite. So that was nice.

Great view and fun place to hang out with friends. The food so far and I’ve given it 4 shots has always been horrible yes horrible always slow and cold and the last time I went (true story) we waited about 45 min for our dinner it came out cold again and my baked potato was not cooked (at all) it was a RAW potato ! The manager was very upset with the kitchen to say the least sorry I will not be back to this place ! Try the one in Ponce Inlet by light house that place is always great !!!

Went to the one in Ponce Inlet and was treated rudely by the waitress. She said loudly to the table next to us when we sat down that she didn’t want to wait on any other customers and she wouldn’t be. We got up and left…

Share one of the large buckets… snow crab legs, steamed shrimp, oysters, clams and mussels. Delicious. Great beach atmosphere and kid friendly!

Great location with a beautiful setting, we have always enjoyed meeting up with friends here. The food here leaves a little bit to be desired but the atmosphere gets them the 3 star rating. The service has always been good unfortunately the food isn’t the reason we come here.

Stopped in after paddling Spruce Creek, it’s just down the road from here. I always seek out a tiki bar or waterfront spot to continue the peaceful vibe.
I had no trouble with parking, but another customer said they loved that they have valet.
The wait staff was attentive and there was a nice selection on draft. I have not seen Hacker Pschorr on draft anywhere before and this night it was Oktoberfest selection.
I opted for the Buffalo Chicken Dip appy, and had planned to try the fried shrimp but by the time I consumed the dip and a bevvie, I was too full. I hope to return and try them and will report back. Though, worth noting, the three regulars I met did have full meals and enjoyed them. Once had mahi mahi, another prime rib, an steak the other, with all the trimmings of veggie and tater. Noted to order prime rib medium so it isn’t too chewy for you palate.
I love the atmosphere here. Several different open decks to choose from for seating or indoor if that’s your thing. I enjoy a nice breeze on the deck with a water view and a few docked boats in the distance.
Live music is featured on the far west deck that was a pleasure, but you could easily sit in another area an be just as happy.
I read somewhere there is a boat that travels between the two locations, which sounds like fun, I must found out more about this. The other location is near the Ponce Inlet lighthouse.
One bathroom stall was out of commission on my visit, and hope they resolve that soon as it was quite odorous. I did enjoy the coconut hand scrub featured.

Another great place to eat in the Daytona area.
We were in town for BiketoberFest. Dropped by to eat dinner. Arrived at 8:58 and of course they close at 9 on Sundays. The folks working that night would not let us leave and insisted we stay and eat and we are so glad we did.
We (3) all had a different seafood choice. But we all thought it was some of the best we had ever had.
Between the great service, friendly staff and management and the assume food you have to try this hidden gem out.
