I have been coming here for the past year. Let me say these guys are amazing. I dropped off a pair of work boots that need soles replaced and they’re good as they were brand new. I bought a pair of decently priced riding boots off of (When shipping was free no matter what.) And the soles on one shoe wore out within 3 months. I brought them down to Lenny, and sure enough he replaced both soles and it’s even better than the original soles that were put on the boots! He’s reasonably priced. Always honest. Great work. Never takes longer than 5 days to complete. You have to expect a different sole than what was on your shoe to begin with. Naturally you can’t expect the same exact sole that was on it. But he works to give you something close.

I have been getting work done at Lenny’s for over 20 years, never have I been disappointed! The work is tops, which is why people come from all over the island to have their repairs done. Less than $ 20 for a pair of heels is not expensive, anyone that thinks so clearly wants the extremely cheap way out of everything! Lenny’s is the only shop on Long Island I trust with my shoes, boots, bags, jackets and anything else leather!!!

I went to get a heel on a pair of leather shoes replaced. The man at the shop did not want to be there. He mumbled under his breath and seemed annoyed that I came in to give him business. Told me that both heels should be replaced together — OK, I get that. They charged quite a lot compared to Brooklyn prices, but I figured that’s just the market here. Got the shoes back a few days later and literally the next time I wore them, one of the heels came off. Just looked like they hot glued it on. Truly the biggest piece of shit I’ve seen and I’ve seen a lot of shoe repairs. Do not let these guys mangle your shoes. tldr; Bad Attitude. Bad Price. Bad Worksmanship.

I brought a pair of boots in. The heel part of the sole came unglued and flapped up when I walked making the tread almost gone on a small portion of the heel when I unfolded it and put it back flat on the shoe so it needed to be fixed. They were my favorite boots with deep treads in thick rubber. When I got them back they had completely different soles with no treads on them and the soles were very thin. The new soles were flat with slight lines for treading. I was so upset. I thought they would replace it with the same thick deep treaded sole. They ended up wearing quickly and I had to throw out my favorite boots.

Lenny does amazing work. I took two pairs of boots my dog had chewed. Both pairs he destroyed the zipper and leather. He repaired both quickly and reasonably. The one pair especially were rather expensive and my favorite knee high boots!

I’ve been going to Lenny’s for years for all my families shoe repairs. I just posted a picture, Lenny’s got my leather soled shoes fixed up and looking brand new! Forget those guys in Penn Station, come here and support a local, Long Island business.

We’ve been going to Lenny’s for years. They do fine work, and have been keeping beloved old shoes going for a long time. They are honest about what can and can’t be fixed.
