The waiting area is beautiful. Beach theme with nice comfy wicker chairs (lots of them) and two big flat screens.
The staff is always pleasant and the entire place is always clean. They do X-​rays in house and tons of tests from digestive problems to ear infections.
The only thing is the wait. It seems excessive at times and when your feeling run down waiting about 30 – 40 minutes can be a real drag.

Stopped in here when I was recently in New York with a very bad upper respiratory infection.
Very clean. Staff was polite. The doctor was lovely. Was in and out of there pretty quickly even without an appointment. I got there at 5:30 pm on a Thursday and was out by 6:15 pm with prescriptions for antibiotics and cough suppressant in hand. The rooms themselves were beautiful and as a nurse, I look for cleanliness. Everyone wore gloves at appropriate times. The facility was sparkling clean and even the waiting room was was very lovely. The doctor spent a good amount of time with me, at least 20 minutes and did not seem hurried or that he was rushing me out of the room, despite the fact that the waiting room seemed full. You don’t need an appointment… but if you can make one, they are suggested.
They even sent me home with a report for MY personal physician to take back to Florida with me so I can give it to him. That’s called continuity of care and it is deeply appreciated as both a nurse and as a patient.
The visit cost me less than an average dinner out in long island (they didn’t take my particular insurance, but they do take insurance). They were even kind enough to offer to call in my scripts to the local CVS if I wanted them to. (I didn’t).
If I had a sudden illness again while visiting New York again, I wouldn’t hesitate to go back to Stat Health. It made being sick a little more bearable.

I have been to this facility many times. My recent visit may have been the last. I had the worst doctor. Actually, when I saw him sitting at the desk on his cell phone, looking like he was playing a game I had no idea he was the doctor who was going to see me. Since my exam room was near the desk, someone kept shouting in that they would be right in — this was after waiting in the waiting room for over 3 hours. The doctor came in and checked me out. He spent maybe 30 seconds with me. Got annoyed that I didn’t understand the question he asked me, which my husband answered. After his thorough examination — he walked out of the room mumbling about the meds he was going to give me. I turned to my husband and said he never even told me what I had. We discussed that I should go out and ask the doctor, but a preferred to wait in the exam room until the discharge person came in. I then asked her if she would be so kind and tell me what my diagnosis was, since the doctor left the the room without telling me. She told me and with that the doctor stuck his head in the door — didn’t even come in — and with such disrespect said «I told you what you had!!!» I then informed him that he never told me and he looked at my husband like a was a crazy person to get confirmation that the doctor did indeed tell me. My husband looked the doctor in the eye and said, «No you never said a word to us about what your diagnosis was». The doctor turned and stormed out the door. I will think long and hard about going back to this place again. I think I will try using another walk-​in urgent care facility.

For those who look at these types up medical facilities as a ‘doc in the box” (sorry guys) you are in for a very very pleasant surprise. This place is a amazing. The doctors are all top notch (especially the guys who run it). I would trust them with anything. All my experiences, and those of friends and neighbors, have been nothing but great. To top it off, the place is gorgeous, it looks more like a resort than a doctors office and it’s cleaner than a lot of restaurants and hotels. It’s spotless! Medical Emergencies? Not sure if you need to go to the hospital or not? Just feel sick?
