Planet Fitness – Port Jefferson

Spacious and clean with lots of cardio equipments and usually not crowded in the mornings. I’ve never had a problem getting a machine or a locker, and people are usually good with reracking the weights, benches do get scattered around the smith machines tho. Nice staff

Great gym. WARNING: Never leave your stuff unattended. I left some things in my locker with no lock (no valuables) and someone stole from me. Keep a lock on your lockers at all times.

This gym is amazingly clean!
I love how close this one is compared to Rocky point and centereach. It’s a little smaller than the other two but at least it doesn’t smell like a foot LOL! I love the big windows in the front that let so much natural light it. It makes for a great «ambiance» (as good as a gym can get)
The staff there is super friendly always. The maintenance/​cleaning crew really gets their groove on! I’ve seen them on their hands and knees cleaning the machines and using what seemed like a 100 foot long pole to clean the dust off the ceiling fixtures!
They have all the new amenities as well! Red light therapy booth, water hydro massage bed & 2 massage chairs (with a TV because who the hell can enjoy a massage without some Days Of Our Lives to keep us occupied?) Tannings beds are high quality also and not just some sideways toaster ovens like other gym tanning beds I’ve been to.
I would highly recommend this place if your looking for a close, clean & cheap gym!

The gym is super clean. I never see it really packed you always have time to get a good workout. Just don’t like the whole feeding pizza to the members who are trying to be healthy. Other then that good gym.

Planet Fitness is opened in Port Jefferson, Yay!
Its a little different from the Centereach location, the 30 minute workout machines are all the way up front by the window. When you’re working out, people walking by can peek in.
Me personally? I could care less but I heard a lady make a comment.
Its smaller than Centereach but cleaner with all new machines.
If you live close to the area, I highly recommend this gym and the location.
I lift things up and put them down.
