I have nothing but praise for Dr. McDonald. I received a tonsillectomy from a doctor in Ann Arbor and blew a scab due to zero aftercare and poor recover instructions.
Dr. McDonald came in on call to PH Hospital between his appointes to help me when I had been vomiting blood for 30min in the ER. His skill and bedside manor are unmatched. He had found my bleed in a difficult location (missed by a previous Doctor) and cauterized with skill, care and humor.
Then at the end of his work day he came back to the hospital to double check my condition before I was released.
Dr. McDonald is an assest to his community and the patients he treats.
