Conveniently located about a mile off of I-94, this rink isn’t too bad. The last few times I have skated there the ice was just so so, just like the condition of the boards. The locker rooms are on the smaller side and some what clean. Some rooms are cleaner then others. They do have a pro shop that does skate sharpening. What stands out is the cost, all the programs they offer seem to be much cheaper then what my rink charges. If I was local I’d skate here more for sure.

As a supporter of a top rated travel hockey team, I visit many area rinks and can now do a solid rink analysis. Glacier Pointe is located right off I-94 and is very visible from Dove Rd. There is little cell signal at the rink, but they do provide wifi. The waiting area in between the rinks is decent sized and the snack bar has many food options(but cash only). Try the waffle fries! Inside the rinks, the seating area is divided into 2 distinct areas, separately the opposing fans. The seats themselves have a strange bum mold with a divider down the middle. I found it very hard to get comfortable and preferred a cold metal bench. There was also no heat in the spectator seats. Brrrrr. As with every hockey game, the younger siblings are running amok. There is a wide gap between the seats and the rink itself, where we had to caution the child to stay away from the glass. Mind the gap and bring a sweater next time you visit Glacier Pointe!
