History
Established in 1981.
We were founded in 1981 by Robert Prothero, a master boatbuilder in the Pacific Northwest. We teach adult vocational students as well as those just interested in the craft how to build traditional and modern wood composite boats. After outgrowing two different shops in the area, we moved to the waterfront in Port Hadlock WA where we have the capacity to teach 55 full-time adult students in our four boat building shops.
