Awful place. Been here 3 times in 6 – 7 years. Each time worse than the last. Booths/tables way too close. Loud. This time the hallway leading to the bathrooms smelled like dirty diapers. The smell moved into dining area! It was terrible. The food was ok. They mid have a deal on cheese, cuz everything was loaded with it! I’d not ever recommend this place. I’m so so sorry I tried it again. Last time.

Grew up with Mexican food everywhere(from SoCal); really great Mexican food. None of that over all my 20 something years compares to Fiesta Jalisco food. I was completely blown away. My husband says the pollo asado is the best chicken he’s ever had in his life… So the food A+++++++ and the service was wonderful as well. It’s very cozy, the waiters/waitresses were all very welcoming and accommodating when we had questions. Also I don’t really care for churros. just never had, but for some reason I thought to get the dessert churros here. Amazing. Nothing like the churros you normally get, they are nice and crunchy and the custard inside is just phenomenal.

Always one of our favorites. The customer service is always excellent and the food so fast!!! Love that they serve a hot and a mild salsa for different palates. The Mr gets the hot, I get the mild and no fighting. Check out the enchiladas!!! Yum!

A nice find west of Seattle. My daughter and i, being front Socal were craving so good Mexican food, but did not want to cross on the ferry to Seattle. This little restaurant in the middle of no where was a great Unilocal find. I always get Carne Asada my first time at at Mexican restaurant and theirs was good, but not great. The meal came with some Pollo which was quite good. Positives : –Warm, Thick, yellow corn chips –spicy salsa actually had a little spice and good taste –different levels of margarita choices –great service –sliced avacado was a nice touch Negative: –White corn tortillas

As with any other Mexican restaurant you lunch begins with chips and salsa. What’s nice about this place is that you get both a hot salsa and a mild salsa so you can take your pick, mix them, alternate, whatever. The service was great and the food was pretty good, but what unfortunately sticks out in my mind is the frijoles. The were really runny, sort of like a light bean soup on my plate. The rice did a good job of soaking them up but still… kinda weird.

My wife and I liked the food and staff. The portions were a little smaller but seemed better than what you get at a typical Mexican restaurant. Unfortunately, after going there a few times over the course of a year we are now staying away for a couple of reasons. First, there is a urinal in the men’s room that has been out of order for at least a year. Why haven’t they fixed it yet? Second, the last time we were there was on a cold day. They sat us next to a window that leaked cold air badly. Due to the poor maintenance of the building I’m afraid of what might be going on in the kitchen.

Now of course there is «Mexican» food and there is «Mexican Mexican» food. As a lifelong resident of southern California who has travelled and lived in several regions of Mexico, I love and appreciate both cuisines, but I do not confuse them or judge one type of restaurant by the standards of the other kind of Mexican restaurant. Fiesta Jalisco is a rare find. The extensive menu offers both standard Mexican food and authentic Mexican Mexican food — an ambitious and unusual effort, and totally successful here! So, you want a combo plate of enchilada, tamale, taco, chili relleno and frijoles? Fiesta Jalisco is your place — they do this universal cuisine to the standards of high art. Not many places in Southern California even come close, and none in California is better. Or do you want a fine and subtle mole sauce, birria, or something you would hope to find in a classic restaurant in Mexico D.C., Oaxaca or Veracruz? Fiesta Jalisco is your place, too. The birria here is perhaps the best I have ever eaten anywhere in either country. Someone with real knowledge, skill and talent is cooking here. This is a comfortable place, with much more room than you would guess from the outside. Don’t be scared off if the parking lot looks crowded on a Friday night — as it should be. Hope for a table under Jose’s care. He is a skilled and thoughtful server, and his knowledge and advice about the menu are careful, helpful and reliable. As is typical with Mexican food, the portions here are huge and the tab is more than reasonable. My husband and I worried out loud before traveling to Washington about satisfying our Mexican food addiction in western Washington, but we shouldn’t have been concerned. This restaurant is not only on our«short list,» it is in first position. It would be a huge success in the heart of Southern California. BTW, the leftover birria re-heated beautifully for lunch the next day.

This is a hard review to do since I am a massive fan of Mexican food(I’m half Mexican and have been raised on it my whole life so I should know good Mexican food) it’s hard to pick which Mexican food place in the area is the best since they all bring their own strengths and weakness so I will say this about this particular restaurant: it’s my first pick when I just want good Mexican food. You won’t be disappointed with this place if you are a first time eater here. Since I have going here for a long time I remember when the prices were cheaper and you got tons more food. Especially with the macho nachos which are freaking delicious btw. When you remember the good ol days and then things change it’s disappointing but not in a horrible way. Otherwise get here early as the place fills up quite quickly and don’t forget to try a tasty margarita here. As for a recommendation I’d go for nachos or the wet carne asada burrito you can’t go wrong!

Yep this is as good as you can expect for this far out! Everything we ordered was great… not the best mexican food you’re ever gonna have. but def. kick ass! I mean. this isn’t souther California. .so I was not expecting much. but they know how to cook it up here in the Pacific North West! Think they deserve 5 stars for exceptional staff. service was unbeatable :-) no complaints about the food… just did not blow my mind the way some spots do. I would love to come back for the Supreme Nachos! Very well done. Price point is right on… and I strongly agree with the other 5 star reviewers that have posted about this spot ! Big thanks to management for keeping a well run and fun restaurant! Thanks!

AMAZINGSERVICE!!! As far as food in your typical Jalisco restaurant — it was perfectly fine. I had a nacho plate — and the potion was great — plenty of left overs — and I had the small ^_^ ! I had 3 kids with me and they were all very content with their meals. The prices were great — as far as food vs price — I thought the place was a wonderful. They clearly don’t cut corners or cheap out. But I want to talk about service. On a normal day — I am a very annoying customer. I never arrive at a restaurant with less then 2 kids and I am that lady who asks questions about where the food is sourced and make a big deal about my families food allergies. Oh but yesterday. I was having such a stressful day — everything just kept going wrong. I hadn’t even wanted to eat out — but I live in PA and had been visiting PT for the day — taking a friend of my little girl’s on a play date. My toddler has dairy allergies and had some how gotten a hold of a milk product and had a very bad stomach. He was cranky and so was I. But I wasn’t able to get a hold of the parents of the little girl we were watching — and couldn’t drop her off! So here I am — way stressed out — with 3 starving kids — and just dreading that I was about to have to survive a restaurant. But my word. From the moment we walked in — ALL the staff were friendly and smiling! Our waitress let us sit in a quiet booth got the chips and mild salsa on the table asap — and made sure there was enough crayons and coloring menus for all the kids. The menus were kind of great too — they had little lessons on Spanish color words and cute pictures. I mean — it’s the little things that make this place great. But after quickly and kindly taking our order my son started to spill his drink. Before I had a chance to get further flustered — she was there in an instant with extra napkins! I didn’t even need to ask! My toddler ended up eating his hamburger to fast — choked and threw up — as I self consciously glanced around — the whole staff just looked at us with sympathy — no one sneered or rolled their eyes — they where just kind and supportive. My son gets sick a lot(another reason why I dread restaurants) but they didn’t try to rush us out or anything. They were just nice to us! We ended cleaning him up a bit in the bathroom. I have to say — wow, The bathroom is spotless. Well stocked and clean. When we were ready to leave our wonderful waitress — Tammy — chatted with me about having little boys — the joys of parenting — complemented my kids —(ya know — even the one who just puked during dinner service :3) and really — made my day. I went in to the restaurant feeling flustered and stressed beyond belief — and I left feeling relieved and cared for. I do not expect this sort of thing from restaurants on the Olympic Peninsula. This is usually not the kind of treatment we receive — from the cheapest dives — the c’est si bon — and yet — in this busy little Mexican place in Port Hadlock — I felt like I was back in Guadalajara or somewhere else in the world that is supportive of families and community. That welcomes children — even when they are having a bad day. Thank you guys!!!

Pedro’s is always busy and I heard fantastic reviews so my boyfriend and I dropped in for lunch recently and were impressed. I had the nachos with carne asada at appetizer price and even had enough to take home for leftovers! My boyfriend had a burrito that was just as delicious. Not many Mexican restaurants in the area to compare it to but I would definitely go there again. Oh and LOVE that they have Jarritos(Mexican soda), most places don’t! Visit #2 I had the special a burrito colorado, it was well priced for such a huge meal($ 6.50) but the sauce wasn’t very good. It was a little too smoky flavored but I was won over with the cheesyness and they have the BESTSALSA!

Pretty good little mexican joint on the way home from Port Townsend. Something of a rarity… the taco on my combo plate was actually CRISPY! What? Usually, the taco shell sits in grease and sauce and cheese and gets soggy by the time it arrives at the table… but not here, oh no! It was still nice and crispy. The dinner was pretty good, nice and tasty… but by about Port Gamble, the mexican food was fighting back.

The food was good. I like the fresh salsa with yummy cilantro. I got fajitas and they were good. I would give this restaurant a 4 star if the kids meals were not over $ 6.00(and that does not include a drink). Good service a fun décor!
