Everyone knows the saying, «you get what you pay for,» with this hotel, you get much, much less. This place is in serious need of a remodel. I believe in giving credit where credit is due… so i’ll start with the pros. Pros: 1. The staff is very friendly. 2. The hotel is right on the lake. You can step right off a little dock and into the water. 3. Cable T.V. including HBO 4. Very comfortable beds Unfortunatley…the cons greatly out way the pros. Cons: 1. The rooms are SMALL. I’m talking, closet sized. 2. The television in the room is also small, they’re also very old and bulky. 3. The place is dirty… i’m talking pathways covered in spider webs. Our shower head looked like it hadn’t been cleaned… ever. Our towels had black marks all over them, and there was a layer of dust on the TV. 4. Don’t be fooled by the promise of «free breakfast.» They have a canister of hard boiled eggs, some donuts and bagels, and some fruit that looked like it had been sitting there for a couple of days. 5. There’s no internet. In a time when even McDonalds’ has free wifi, there’s no excuse for a hotel not to.

Ranked #15 out of 18 local motels! …and that’s about right. It looks like rates for a standard room are around $ 155 a night. What do you get for that? A mattress with months of the year written on the ends with a Sharpie, presumably for turning instructions, but not in sync with the calendar. The minimum legal definition of «breakfast.» A bathroom sink with a past visitor’s toothpaste cap stuck in the drain. A lakeside dock with warped boards and rusty nails sticking out and oh yes I am going to upload a photo! The clear view of the Davis-Besse nuclear power plant cooling tower isn’t the fault of the«Inn,» but it doesn’t exactly help things!(For some added excitement, check out Davis-Besse’s safety record!)
