In Port Charles on a business contract for 2 months with my wife. We are supposed to work it together. After 3 weeks I end up in the hospital for several weeks, wind up practically immobile for the duration. Our old van we use to carry everything we need for business and to get by in an apartment decided it was sick, too. I spoke with a half a dozen people over the phone looking for an independent mechanic with a good reputation. To a man, everyone mentioned Tom Joyce. We spoke over the phone and I had AAA deliver the old van to him. He called and told me what the problem was and asked which way I’d prefer to go due to the age of the vehicle. When he called and said it was done, I asked how much I owed him so far and he told me. I’m astounded. I had been prepared for much more. Then I asked him to help with something non-​mechanical in the rear inside of the van. He did that. When my wife picked up the van, I asked her how it was doing, and she said better than ever, and commented that the interior problem that was worrying her so much was fixed also. I asked how much the final bill was, and she replied with the same initial figure I had been given. I’ve met few such honorable men in the field, and at a time when I was of no use to my wife, he stepped in and was a Good Samaritan with a wonderful surprise at Christmas. I can not say enough about this kind man. Feel good about going here, and put your trust in a knowledgeable and honest man.

Been going for oil changes and service for over 5 years. Office staff is exceptional. The work is done right the first time at a reasonable price. Tom Joyce is a very nice person whom I trust.

I absolutely love these guys. I’ve taken two of my cars to them over the years and they have always been upfront and honest. They do quality work and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a good mechanic.
