I have been here one time last year, and the food was pretty good so I decided to return this year. Well, one, they were out of buns(how can you be out of buns on a friday at noon?) so we could only get a wrap. Two, I ordered onion rings for my side and I got six little onions rings(not even enough to fill me up) and the person I was with had soggy fries(like they were cooked in the oven). As for the service, it truly lacked compared to last year. The location is fantastic, but the food and service was not worth the money at all. I wouldn’t recommend this so-so place to anyone. There are way better other mom and pop places out there.

This is from 3 weeks ago on a Sunday afternoon: 1 for the service; 3 for the quesadillas. It’s fine if those three tables that are already here are consuming all the energy of 1 server and 1 bartender; we’ll just wait for ten minutes for any type of acknowledgement. We also won’t be back. Seriously acted like we were such a nuisance by showing up. There was actually another employee counting her tips at the bar and flirting with some dude. I realize she was off the clock but if waiting on 10 other people was two much for the two on the clock, you think she might have lent a hand or two. The food was so-so. Overall, it’s a shame because they have monitored bike racks, a beautiful location and terrific access by water, foot, car, human powered or motor powered bikes, etc.

Great summertime lunch or dinner spot. The Reuben sandwich and green bean fries are awesome.

Love this place for a relaxing evening after a long hot day at the race track. Sitting on the patio watching the barge traffic fascinated me. Sad we won’t be back to Cordova for a race anytime soon.

Grew up in the Port Byron area and live in Boston now. Visiting for Thanksgiving and had a great lunch at It’s. Great view of the mighty Mississippi along with great service. Realized after driving for 40 minutes that we left a prized NE Patriots hat behind. Called and spoke to our great waitress, Doian, who quickly agreed to mail it to us! Would definitely go back, hopefully in warm weather to sit on the awesome deck.

Not really worth the trip off 80. Service wasn’t that great. Waitress seem to get an attitude after we ordered waters for the whole family. The grill cheese didn’t come with cheddar. However, the burger was good.

My mom brought me here for a late lunch the other day. It’s a cute location, on Main St in Port Byron, with a really nice waterfront deck and boat dock. This would be a great place to stop on a day of boating on the River. Service was friendly, we were here about 4:00 on a Saturday — about 4 tables were occupied. They even offered to let us bring my dog to the patio, but we opted to eat indoors instead. I had the fish & chips — the fish and the fries were really good. They have a nice menu with a lot of reasonably priced options. ‘ I would definitely come back here, especially in the summer when you can sit outside.

This is a restaurant in my parents town and we usually go at least once when I am home. The best part is that It’s on the River — literally. They even have a boat dock if you are boating out on the Mississippi and get hungry and thirsty. The menu recently changed over and while the pizza was great that my family shared a few weeks ago, they got rid of a few of my favorite menu items. We went on a Friday and while we were seated immediately and outside where there was a nice breeze, we weren’t informed that only one pizza oven was working so they were a bit behind. The waitress let us know after we had waited the initial expected amount of time and offered us an appetizer or a free round of beers on the house which we took her up on the free round of brews and that made up for the wait — they really want to please you while you are there and have you come back. The inside is super cozy for a cold fall or winter day too. Definitely my preferred place to go out to eat in Port Byron.

Love this place! The food is always good: pizzas yummy thin crust, chicken salad sandwich, brisket blt, pork chop sandwich, cucumber salad side dish, fries – all good! In the winter there’s a nice fireplace inside. Good beer selection, wish they had a drinks menu though. Great patio on the river! I would give it 5 stars except that the service on the patio is always slow! So go when your not in a hurry & order your next drink early! :)

Food is OK, Atmosphere great. Started out with great Pizza and then went to a more pre– purchased one similar to frozen. Nice place to go especially in the summer.

Nice restaurant on the Mississippi river. You can dock your boat. Cold beer, good food and a fantastic view.
