Port Arthur Department of Public Safety office

What can I say about a little town as small and compact as the town of Mayberry in the Andy Griffith Show? You could almost fit everything governmental and public on about 2 city blocks around here. Cuuuute.
This office is where I got a duplicate of my lost driver’s license. It is connect to some other service which I did not remember being what it was.
The notable thing about here is the ladies behind the counter are very helpful and nice. Do not expect that in Houston or probably many big city DPS offices.
When you come in, you take a number like you are getting an ice cream from baskin robbins and wait for you to be called.
This place is right on the back stretch of road right behind the body of water separated by a large levy/​dike type man made dirty structure.
The office closes at 5 pm.
