Best boudin on the planet! I grew up on Nick’s boudin and the quality hasn’t changed one bit. They’ve added more options over the years, which is great for those who don’t eat pork. I’ll continue support Nick’s for the rest of my natural born life.

Best pork boudin in the state! Huge meat selection behind the deli counter with decent prices and all staff are always super friendly and very helpful. If you’re ever in Port Arthur then stop in for some boudin

My mom grew up in a house just down the street from Nicks, and my grandma still lives there. Nick’s boudin was always around at family gatherings, i still crave it to this day, and I’ll always compare other boudin’s to Nicks. We always just had the regular pork boudin, i think it’s the best option there. They do have smoked pork boudin also, that my friends in Amazing! Get some, put it on your grill, then put a smile on your face because it’s gonna be good. My uncle brought us some for Christmas this year, thank god my fiancé doesn’t like it much, ITSALLMINE! One of Port A’s true gems.

My family has been shopping at Nicks since I was born and I’m 28. I was raised on their boudin, cracklin & hog head cheese. Every visit to P.A. my mother and I would stop by and get the usual one pound of boudin, cracklin and hog head cheese to take back to Houston. Nicks boudin is like no other, their hog head cheese is authentic with all the right ingredients and the cracklin is the REALDEAL minus all the excess oil. I love this place and hope they continue to keep this family business going for many more years to come because one day I plan to keep tge tradition going with my kids.

I’m a huge fan of the boudin at this place… best I’ve had… aside from that there are many other deliciosities to choose from… the price is very reasonable and the service is quick and convenient… definitely recommend stopping here if you’re in the area.

Clean, cool little grocer’s in Port Arthur. Okay boudain, but too much rice for my liking. Try the chicken sausage, that was GREAT. Also enjoyed the crackllin, hog’s head cheese(that was a trip) and the butcher shop in general. Great prices on fresh pork ribs.

The food is great there, I am eating some of the boudain as I type this. The people who work there are extra nice. They have have fresh turkey wings and hen and hen wings.

I grew up in the Beaumont area and this is where you find the best boudain in the area. The only thing else I’ll eat is the frozen D.J.‘s boudain, but I really prefer it fresh instead.

The Boudain King reigns supreme still at Nick’s Grocery! If you are a local and lived in this neighborhood, then you know about Nick’s Grocery. This is a great place to get FRESH home made sausage, boudain, and other meat delights like hog head cheese DAILY. Whether you are old or young, Nick’s has NOT changed despite the volatile economic times, numerous hurricanes that have ravaged the area, or even the ever changing diversity of the neighborhood. they have weathered it all and are still going strong. Nick’s is a place that upon entering you are thrown back to those childhood days of a simple«Hello» at the door, a simple cash register that rings you up, and simple store shelves stocked with everything that you need. There are no flashy adverts, lights, or promotional items to get you in the store; they simple get you to shop there because they care, they are local, and they have great products. Most recently I stopped in, as I do not live in the area any more, to pick up some sausage and boudain. Upon entering my senses were compounded with the overwhelming great smells of fresh meat being ground and mixed with herbs in the back. As I waited for them to finish and get my order wrapped in butcher paper, I couldn’t help but think about how simple it is to what they do, but yet you do not see that anymore. Thank you Nick’s for keeping a tradition alive and my memories refreshed. It was a GREAT moment to show my daughter with what I grew up with soooo many years ago, her curiosity peaked and she understood her home made food that much better since she saw where it came from.
