I have to bring them down a star(maybe more?)… I come here about once or twice a year and when I do I always appreciate getting sandwiches for the road trip back to Austin, but over the past visits they have been shrinking in size while the price is the same or higher? I picked up a smoked turkey and a regular po-boy and to my surprise when I opened the bag I found a sandwich that was almost the length of Subway but yet was only about 3 inches wide? It was a size between an Olive Garden bread stick and a Subway regular. Really disappointing. The meats and flavor were still there, but everything was still in small quantities. It was no longer the traditional sized po boy sandwich that was affordable and filling. I am not sure what cost measures were taken, who the new baker is that provides the bread, but whatever the reasoning I do not see it justified enough to make a special stop for a longtime classic sandwich that is no longer there. I understand that this is a place that sells alcohol primarily, but the affordable and tasty sandwiches always made it a valued trip. Maybe they will get back to the regular sized bread and bolder nostalgic taste, but for now all they have is a large pencil shaped sandwich that leaves much to be desired for those who buy them.(buy two sandwiches and place them side by side and then you will have a whole sandwich like they used to sell)
