History

Established in 1948.

The insurance agency was founded in 1948 by Gordon Sandison a local resident and politician. 29 years later he sold the agency to Steve Callis in 1977 to form Sandison & Callis Insurance. In 1987 Steve Callis changed the name to Callis & Associates, Inc. With the combination of over 100 years experience our agency is a knowledge base from which we strive to put service as our first priority.
