Located just outside Olympic National Park in Port Angeles, WA, our guided kayak, mountain bike and stand up paddle board excursions are a must do while visiting the area. Trips include Sea Kayaking near Olympic National Park, Lake Kayaking at Lake Crescent and Mountain Biking the Adventure Route. Also this is the place to pick up your kayak, bike and stand up paddle board rentals. Are you looking to purchase your own equipment? We love getting people set up with the right gear the first time and sharing fun, educational trips with safety as our #1 priority. History

Established in 2000.

Adventures Through Kayaking began as a kayak manufacturer, specializing in the first ever high performance sit on top kayak with a see through window. After several years of building kayaks, the owners called Tammi Hinkle and asked if she would open a guide service and prototype the kayaks being made. Tammi, a seasoned sea kayak and whitewater guide enthusiastically said yes and the first guided tours took place in the year 2000. Over the next few years, the manufacturing side of the business went away, while the guide service grew. As the kayak guide service continued, it was a natural progression to add a specialty kayak retail store– now the only specialty kayak store on the Olympic Peninsula. After a move to a larger facility, Adventures Through Kayaking added mountain bike tours to it’s offerings, followed by stand up paddleboard tours and lessons.
