Quality Inn & Suites

I’m very disappointed in what I saw crawling on the bed in my very short stay at this hotel. The staff seemed courteous, the room looked nice but what I found on the bed was disgusting. I kept seeing black specks on the linen. I figured it was lint from my sweater. I didn’t pay any mind as I unpacked my things and went to go shower (the tub was very dirty.) When I came back to sit on the bed I noticed more specks. Then the speck began to crawl. It was either a flea or a bed bug! I packed all my stuff and left. I spoke with the lady at the front desk and she offered a manager so he could reverse my points. He wasn’t available so she gave me his business card and said to call later. I called but no one answered so I emailed them. I also called the 800# for choice privileges (the rep was very dry and unhelpful.) The choice privileges rep called him for me to see about getting the points reversed. After holding for a while, she informed me that he wasn’t going to reverse my points. He said the room was brand new, I left food in the room and used the shower. why yes I used the room because I was PLANNING ON STAYING. I wasted 18,000 points on a room I used for 2 hours. This is bad business and I’m calling choice again to see what else can be done. I’m a platinum choice rewards member and always stay loyal to these hotels.

The manager called me and was hostile, argumentative and demanded I come to the room. I’ve never seen such lack of professionalism and rudeness! Instead of apologizing to me and offering to do something about it, he said I was lying and I needed to come back to the room to show him the bugs. Extremely rude and condescending! What’s ironic is that he emailed me on Unilocal apologizing yet when we got on the phone he was hollering at me like I was the one that did something wrong. Very bad business and no way to treat a customer.*****

This is the Diane Feinstein of hotels. Old, Dirty and in dire need of being replaced. I was in room 419 behind some utility/​boiler room which was unbelievably loud and irritating. The entire front building is under some sort of extended construction so you have to walk to the back one from the front.
I would avoid this hotel at all cost, it’s just bad…

I stayed here last night with my kids. We were driving back from FL to TX and wanted a choice hotel to stay at. We were tired, and just needed a bed to sleep on. Don’t let the name fool you, though., there’s no Quality here, the room stunk, the hotel is old and run down, the AC is loud, the bathroom was dirty, and on… I should’ve paid the extra $ 20 and stayed at Hampton Inn…
