Michigan Mortgage Solutions has been originating mortgage loans since 1998. However, we used to operate under the name Nolan Mortgage until 2011 when we changed locations and DBA’d as Michigan Mortgage Solutions.

We’ve maintained an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau since 2008 and we believe our clients come first. We pride ourselves on offering much more than just mortgages, we offer financial solutions.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

As a lifelong resident of the Great Lakes State, I’ve always had an affinity for all things Michigan. I was born and lived in Detroit until I was seven years old. After moving to Sterling Heights for a year, we moved to Howell where I was raised and my parent’s still reside today.

In 1998 I founded Nolan Mortgage Corporation. As the President and Operations Manager, I grew the company from a single man operation working out of a spare bedroom, to a mid-​sized mortgage firm located in Waterford, MI.

Over the ensuing years, we would go on to fund thousands of mortgages for homeowners across the state of Michigan. I’m proud of these accomplishments and built my mortgage company to last by following a simple mantra: Do the right thing.

In 2011 we changed our name from Nolan Mortgage to Michigan Mortgage Solutions to better reflect our mission. That same year, we relocated to Downtown Pontiac, MI as part of a group of business seeking to revitalize this once vibrant community.
