Kabobji is the most amazing Mediterranean restaurant I have ever visited. My favorite was the«Kabobji Kabob» that came with a rice bowl, salad and a drink to complete my combo! The price was more than fair, just under $ 11. For dessert I had the homemade Baklava, there are no words to describe it, you MUST have! Last by not least what made me want to stay even more was the helpful staff and the cleanliness of the restaurant, everything was so sparkly and organized and that’s most important because I’m the biggest germaphobe! Definitely will return :)

Kabobji makes my taste buds hug my tongue. I am a vegan and Kabobji has ample options to satisfy me. Their hummus is the best! Tutsi USA must! Veggie Boorak is their Mediterranean Spring Roll.

I visited here while on lunch break from jury duty(close to courthouse). Very friendly service and best lamb shawarma sandwich I’ve ever had.

Great food & service! Great for a quick lunch. The inside is nicely designed with a clean, simple modern look. They also have free Wi-Fi. Chicken shawarma was sooo tasty! This will now be one of my go-to lunch spots.

Visited this lovely establishment with my mom on a whim. The food was classic Arabic cuisine with a fresh and unique twist on old world dishes. I had a sampler platter of the specialties running me only 6.99. The staff was the most welcoming, generous and friendly I have found in any resraurant. I understand some may be complaining about pricing, but I strongly feel that if the food is fresher, tastier and better prepared, than it should cost more. Although I did not find it to be too over-priced, I would pay more for the dining experience alone. I was treated like royalty, like a long lost relative. I received several free-bees, and a sample of some amazing tea that wasn’t on the menu. Their spicy garlic sauce was to die for, and I got as many free refills of it as I wanted. I highly recommend this restaurant!

I’m not sure about the guy that reviewed Kabobji and said he had to pay for all the extra items and that things were just ok. That being said, I have been coming here every week since I stumbled upon this lil gem!!! The staff is amazing, my first time here I met as I like to refer to them, «The Gals of Kabobji» and I swear ever since my first visit they have made me feel SOWELCOMED!!! I have pretty much tried everything on the menu… and beyond! They have made non menu items for me even… talk about personal service! I found that if I questioned what something was the next thing I knew I was tasting it! I love that about a restaurant… they truly value their customer base here! It’s like a mile from my house and I’m so happy about that!!! Just tonight I got a fresh pan of biryani and it’s AMAZING! I also had their baklava tonight for the first time… I’m not kidding when I say it was THEBEST I’ve ever had! If you’re close by or even far away… make the trip here for some of the best«home cooked» food! P. S. I don’t ever mind paying a little bit more for food that is quality, fresh, and made with love!

I first visited this place when they were freshly open(hadn’t even had their Grand Opening yet). First impression, a bit pricey but when it comes to Mediterranean food… I expect that. This place has great potential and I wish them nothing but the best in their location. I really enjoy their sandwiches/wraps. If you are looking for a big meal this may not be the best place for that, but if you are in need a quick bite to eat it is definitely a place to check out. I have been here a handful of times, brought family and friends here. All positive experiences. A big plus is this place is less then 5 mins away from my house. Practically walking distance. Love that!

Let me preface this with the fact that I am a huge connosiuer of kafta, kabobs, and schwarma. First ill tell you that the meat is ok. Nothing mind blowing, but not terrible. Let me tell you the problems though. First off, I got a kafta bowl which only comes with one skewer of meat, so I added a second. This bowl with an add skewer was 14 $, which WOULD’VE been ok, but when I got the bowl there was TWO tiny pieces of pickled turnip. Maybe one ounce of the yellow cabbage. The meat and rice. Basically I paid 14 $ for some meat and rice. I couldn’t believe it, it didnt come with garlic cream sauce or pita either so I went up and asked for some pita, garlic sauce, and some extra turnips, cabbage, onion, and tomato to make it a complete bowl. They wanted 3 $ for each vegetable, 3 $ for garlic, and I forget how much for pita. Making my ONE bowl/meal about 18 $, thats with me NOT getting the vegetables because that’s insane, it should come on it already. I’m sorry but this is a SCAM. Buy the core set of food and pay even more for the standard items? GOTOPITAWAY. They give you rice, two skewers of meat, almonds, raisins, cabbage, turnip, hummus, garlic sauce, onion, tomato, and pita ALLFOR12 $. I am a great customer and never give 1 star review’s, but I fell ripped off. THISPLACEHASPOTENTIALIFTHEYACTUALLYWEREFAIRWITHWHATTHEUGAVEYOU. Unless they change how they make their«bowls» and start including standard items I wont go there ever again. However, if they did give all the items it would probably be amazing! MORALOFTHESTORY: if money is no object, and you dont mind cobbling together a core set bowl and all the expansions for 18 $ for a whole meal, definitely come here. Otherwise, go to pita way!

Absolutely delicious! I had the chicken shawarma sandwich with«the GARLIC» sauce which was absolutely perfect. The employees were very friendly and the restaurant is extremely vibrant! The seasoning on the fries I had was just right and I ended my meal with a crème caramel cake which will satisfy any sweet tooth! Definitely going back and bringing my friends!

I am glad to see something trying to make a go of it in the Slummit I mean Summit wasteland area. Why people at the 1200 building are not dining here is beyond me. It was dead. You order upfront off a menu behind the counter. There are combos which are pricey at 14.99 for lunch. The salad it came with was small and had ranch dressing. Ranch, really? I really had my heart set on the middle eastern dressing that always tastes so fresh. The saffron rice was nice. I had the chicken shawarma cut off the spicket and the tikka which was nicely marinated but a little too charred for my linking. Lots of garlic sauce on top that packed a powerful punch to ward off any possible vampires. The curry potato soup was good and unique. If you do not opt for a combo the other options are more affordable like the stuff it(sandwich with two choices of bread) or a rice bowl. If I worked or lived in the area I would give it a go. But order a fountain drink because if you ask for water the miniature glass is laughable. No changing station for babies– just a tip.

Great new place that recently opened in Oakland County across from the old Summit Place Mall. Colorful and open setting inside where you can sit and enjoy good food. I had the Beef Shawarma sandwich and was blown away with how good it was. Meat was very tender and seasoned to perfection. Friendly staff helps too and they were very knowledgeable of the menu which is always a plus. Do yourself a favor and visit this place!
