Food is mediocre at best, usually bland and non offensive but that’s about all I can say. Nice atmosphere but service usually slow.

Went on a motorcycle ride through Hawks Nest, very beautiful ride and scenery. After a long stretch of road was Millbrook Inn. The place has a really cool rustic atmosphere. The bartender was very friendly and the food was great. I look forward to going back.

I wish I could write a review about the food, but we didn’t even get a chance to eat here. First, the owner came out and literally barked at us for letting our dog out of the car in his parking lot.(We had been driving quite a while and wanted to let her stretch her legs before we ran in to get food). Then, when we went in to order, he wouldn’t let my 2 year old daughter use the bathroom until we ordered to make sure we were ‘actual customers’. I don’t think we’ll ever go back to try the food.

We love this place! Historic and warm ambiance, great sauerbraten and potato pancakes, and excellent choice of beer. The pricing is a good value for the quality and quantity of food, as well as the entire dining experience. We always feel welcome at the Millbrook, and leave happy.

I love this place. Its exactly what you could want in a cosy riverside Inn. the food is amazingly good(the French onion soup the best I’ve tasted) and Sandy the owner is a beer connoisseur who has an eclectic supply of unique German and other fine ales. Highly recommend as a stop.
