Hired Spectrum to paint the foyer and some trim on my first floor. Charlie, who came to do the estimate was very professional and explained that they are not going to be the cheapest, but they would be the best. He was right about both. It was pricey, very pricey, but the job they did was exceptional. They were so accommodating and helpful when I asked to revise the job after an unforeseen issue happened at the house and I had to decrease the work being done. I love that they aren’t pushy and really made you feel like you were their #1 customer. I would recommend them 100%. Just be prepared to pay a bit more.

Spectrum repaired & painted my kitchen cabinets, kitchen walls and the kitchen ceiling. They did a wonderful job. The cabinets came out better than I could have dreamed. Everyone thinks they are brand new cabinets. Wilson Mike and Juan were very professional. And the office staff and coordinators (Lisa) were wonderful and helpful. From start to finish, everything was A+++.

We hired Spectrum Painting to refresh our garage with spackle, paint, carpentry work around the exposed ducts and finish the floor with an epoxy coating. Jose and the team did incredible work on this huge job! It was a complete transformation. They were very neat and covered everything to keep it clean and reduce the dust. They also cleaned up at the end of each day, sweeping up, and bagging up the garbage.
We also hired Spectrum to paint our kitchen and two bathrooms, one of which required removing wallpaper. The team was all over our house on those days, but they covered the floors and doorways to help keep the dust down. They also cleaned up at the end of the day and vacuumed, which was a big plus.
Rich and his teams do a fantastic job and we will continue to work exclusively with Spectrum Painting for our needs. They have painted just about every room in our house, plus the foundation and have power washed the siding. The teams are neatly dressed, respectful of our property, listen to our needs and are a pleasure to work with. We highly recommend Spectrum Painting for your project.

There is nothing better when you can refer a business to a friend, family member or business associate, without blinking an eye because you KNOW they are going to provide high quality work, a great price and are true professionals. Spectrum Painting is that business.
I work for a non-​profit, so our budget is always tight and we just moved into a new office in Totowa that needed a drastic makeover. I called Spectrum and spoke to Rich and he wanted to make sure our new spot looked great. Charlie then came to do the measurements and gave us a quote that was incredibly fair (way below our budgeted price). Only days later they had their guys, Winston and Mike, at my office painting and in 2 days turned a dreary, 70’s looking non-​profit office into a bright, modern, and respectable looking spot I was proud of.
What I love about Spectrum is that Rich treated me like family and wanted to make sure the job was done to the highest of expectations, as if we had an unlimited budget. Charlie is just a great person, who is so friendly, helpful and provided some awesome suggestions and the guys at Spectrum (Winston and Mike) were on-​time, extremely clean (they even vacuumed the entire office after they were done), professional, and to say the work was high-​quality would be the understatement of the year. I wish I could give Spectrum 10 stars instead of 5.

Spectrum did an outstanding job painting the whole interior of my home. They completed the project a day ahead of schedule, they worked to a very high standard and everyone I had to deal with was responsive, professional and courteous. They weren’t the cheapest estimate I had but, if you take the time to look at what you’re getting, it’s evident that Spectrum go the extra mile. They only work with the best Benjamin Moore paint, the level of preparation is bordering on the obsessive, they offer free color consultation (Pam is great!), and they cleaned up everyday to allow access and minimise any inconvenience. From the moment I met Charlie, who gave us our estimate, I was convinced that my home was in good hands. It’s great when you find a contractor who meets, or in Spectrum’s case, exceeds your expectations. We’re already contemplating our next painting project and have no reservations using Spectrum again. My only stipulation is that they send Jose and his crew (Mike and Rapheal) to do the work — they were truly the best and a pleasure to have in my home!

Spectrum not only painted, but also hung crown and base molding, installed doors and light fixtures in my home. We were very pleased with the work. The estimator, Charlie, is a pleasure to deal with, as are the guys who do the work. You can trust them in your home. They are very conscientious, pay close attention to detail, and did not leave a mess in the house. Rich, the owner, is concerned with making sure the customer is satisfied. We were most definitely satisfied and will be using Spectrum again in the future.

This is the second time I’ve used Spectrum and the continue to set the bar for customer satisfaction.
Charlie came to estimate and made some excellent suggestions and explained how the job would be done. Tommy was there several days installing moldings and shelves and left the job site clean every day. Ibo and his painting crew did a great job getting the job completed in one day. Everyone from start to finish were a pleasure to work with. Definately going to use Spectrum again.

This company offers a gift card to anyone who leaves a positive review, so keep that in mind. We got 3 estimates, Spectrum was BY FAR the highest, but we went with them because insurance was paying. We thought we’d get what we paid for. We did not. At all. I really wouldn’t recommend them simply because of the price. They are the same quality as any other painter but they give you this «guarantee» that makes you think you’re getting something special. You’re not. We just eventually got tired of telling them to come back and fix all the imperfection and now we live with it.

I absolutely loved everything about Spectrum. We did not have an easy process but they were great the whole way through!
First, about a month ago I called and spoke to Rich about an estimate based on square footage. He gave me one that I knew was out of our budget, but then worked with us to see what we can get done for what we could afford.
We were asking them to come to see our new condo during closing so that they could paint before we moved initially, but with our closing date moving around so much, I was impressed at how flexible Rich was with us, knowing that the painter’s deadline was getting closer and closer. Finally our sellers decided we will close on a Tuesday and Rich came in that day, gave us a hard number and had his guys come paint on Thursday!!! What’s there not to love? Oh and I went to Seela’s in Wayne to pick out the Bejamin Moore colors and even got help choosing the colors in my desired color scheme.
Our place was a little dusty which is fine considering we haven’t moved yet and will be sure to clean after, but otherwise, everything was in tip top shape. Our head painter even stayed extra to make sure that our thermostat was set back correctly.
I had an incredible experience on a very strict budget and cannot recommend Spectrum enough. I am also willing to answer more questions. I will post pictures soon.

We recently had Spectrum send us a painter for a day. Warren consulted with us on the best options for our projects and Reudi did a fantastic job hanging wallpaper on one wall, painting several radiators, and doing various touch-​ups around the house. The wallpaper was my biggest concern and he did it perfectly, making excellent choices in pattern placement, etc. He was super neat and professional and everything was done to our high standards. They even left us a container of amazing homemade chocolate chip cookies. (!!!) We will definitely be using Spectrum again.

My husband I just had our house painted — an event that could have been stressful but was completely stress-​free thanks to the professionals at Spectrum. Working with Rich and Karen was great. The painters — led by Oldemar — were terrific. The paint job is excellent — our accept wall was perfectly done. Even with painting, sanding, spackling you wouldn’t know they were in our house as they cleaned up (vacuumed, swept floors) every evening before leaving. We had crown molding installed and we were a little concerned as people warned us that it is a hard carpentry job. Oldemar installed the crown molding perfectly — straight to the ceiling and without any seam.
We happily and confidently recommend Spectrum.

I have worked with Spectrum Painting for interior painting before and was always happy with their work, very professional and neat. This time I had them powerwash the outside of my house and all the patios and walkways. I was amazed at how clean everything looked after. They got off all the green mold from the winter. The crew was awesome and cleaned up at the end. I was so pleased and would highly recommend Spectrum Painting for your next interior or exterior job!

Spectrum Painting did a great job with our kitchen and bedroom. We did not want to tackle the kitchen on our own because of the small spaces above the cabinets, behind the stove, and behind the fridge, and we did not want to do the bedroom ourselves because we needed the textured ceiling sanded off and decided to do an accent wall. Spectrum did a great job, left our house very clean, and put everything back in its place. We will definitely be calling them again for more rooms in our house.
