Petri’s Positive Pest Control

My wife and I LOVE Petris pest company. Mike is our guy. Mike has been taking care of my moms house for about 20 years and now takes care of me and my wife’s place. We had a problem with ants. But after the first time spraying the inside and out of the apt it looks great. NO ants and no Oder. Mike is awesome. Really. He is super nice. He puts on booties before he comes inside. And my 4 dogs LOVE him. He always asks if everything is good. Yes I know it is his job to take care of us but he seems to really care how we are doing. Anyway if you have any issues with pests. No matter what they are you definitely will NOT regret calling Petris pest control company. I PROMISE!!!

I’ve used Petri for almost eight years and can’t say enough good things about the company and their service. Professional and friendly employees.

Gabriel was my technician for my flea problem! He was polite, professional and very thorough. I have a small condo (1 bedroom, 1 bath) and he flipped over furniture and moved everything around to spray every inch of my place! I also spoke with a couple of the receptionist on the phone and they were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend Petri Positive pest control to all my friends and family!

BEST PEST CONTROL COMPANY IN MY NEIGHBORHOOD! I can only begin to tell you how happy I am with Petri’s Pest Control. Everyone I have dealt with is professional, courteous and knowledgeable. Service visit scheduling is convenient and reliable. I was not happy with my last pest control company so I searched the internet to find a new company and finally decided on Petri’s. Not only was their price fair but great customer service from my first phone call to the technician showing up for the initial visit. The entire process impressed me on both how easy and how efficiently they handled me as a new customer.

It has been almost a year now, and except for one call back, my bug issues have been almost non-​existent. I like this company.

I attempted to contact the owner/​manager again. No luck! He went on vacation only to tell me that the only way that he would consider upholding the agreement that was in place was for me to remove my comment on Unilocal.How sketchy is that? I paid into the termite warranty for years and several times called to report re-​infestation and the inspector denied that there was any infestation. So disappointed with this company since we enjoyed Jessie and the Sales rep that serviced our commercial and residential. I hope those individuals would go work for a company where the owner has a more ethical foundation. Again, STAY AWAY!

Nice people but didn’t solve any pest issues. I asked them to bait the ants, they wouldn’t do it. So they spray, big deal. We end up with an ongoing ant problem, forever, because spraying doesn’t do anything other than insure that we have ants and a need for an exterminator, forever.
But they are happy to set you up on a regular service plan, so they can come and spray 50 cents worth of poison around the house, not solve the actual issues, and charge you $ 50 or whatever it is.
They are like most any pest control company. Questionable.
Do yourself a favor, buy the right products online, spend 10 minutes every 3 months, and handle it yourself for a few pennies.

Petri responded that they cannot locate me, but they private messaged back and forth with me and know exactly who I am. They are merely pretending that I’m not a customer on the public comments. After CLEARLY knowing I no longer want their service, they showed up at my rental 6 months later for their «Protect-​A-​Guard» (LOL) service without my knowledge (until I got a bill) and have continued billing me for it with finance charges. Obviously I’m not going to pay it. You can’t make this up. Definitely beware of these clowns and their nefarious business practices. And to be specific in response from Petri that they use baits, they very clearly told me they won’t bait the ants. Period. If that’s not true, then they may want to discuss with their technician. I gave the tenant ant bait from Amazon that cost me $ 30 (optigard) and haven’t had an ant problem since. Tenant is happy. I’m happy. I have about 5 years worth of ant killing bait for ½ the cost of a single Petri (non) service.

I had a Tick infestation in my home and called these guys up. Marc showed up to inspect my home and genuinely cared about my situation and had Gabriel come by to exterminate them right away. They saw i had two dogs and really cared about getting rid of the problem without it affecting my dogs. I paid for a month long 3 visit deal at a great price and after the first visit I never saw a tick again. I highly recommend these guys if you need to get an exterminator call them!

We had a bad ant problem on our back patio. Petri’s service guy came out and located the nest on the first visit. Problem was resolved quickly.

These guys are the best. Their knowledge is only exceeded by their professionalism. Started using them to protect my house and now they handle my lawn and landscaping. Saved my ficus from a bad case of whitefly. Losing the hedge would have a been a real tragedy as we have had it for 20 years and it provides my home with needed privacy. You won’t go wrong choosing Petri.

I continue to receive very quick, professional and expedited service from Petri. Petri attended to a wildlife (opossum) issue I had in my front lawn a few months ago. The technician was quite thorough and experienced. He made several visits to my home and regularly called to check-​in.
Petri also services my bi-​monthly pest control. The technician is friendly and knowledgeable. He takes time to listen to my concerns and conducts a thorough assessment. I continue to recommend Petri to neighbors and business colleagues; and am very satisfied with their service.

These guys are great! Always helping us out. I love working with family owned businesses and Chris and his family are pillars in our community. Thank you for going the extra mile for us when we had our raccoon problem and termite issues. I don’t get the negative reviews here. Trust me. Petri is much much better than those national big companies!

They advertise themselves as the ant specialists, yet when i had problems with an ant infestation, there attitude was «it’s ant season what do you expect». Have been a customer for over 20 years, — service and accountability has seriously declined recently. Hope I get some assistance w/​these ants from another company.
I came back to edit my review– the person i spoke w/​first on the phone could not have been less helpful, then i asked for someone else and got i think «Kenny». he came out and found a total infestation of my house– despite the fact that i have had regular service from them (the quarterly plan) for 10 years and that my regular, pest guy Jason had been coming out weekly at my request due to the problem. Don’t know what jason had been doing, but it was clearly not working. Kenny changed the type of insecticide, found a bunch of nests and w/​in 3 weeks it was under control. So they were eventually responsive, but it a) should never have happened w/​regular service and b) should not have taken so long to be resolved.

So far they have helped keep our carpenter ants and sugar ants under control. Could be better service with our lawn spray as the grass seems a bit brown and still has some weeds. Helped give us a deal on our office and home property. Overall solid and would recommend.

I had the indoor & outdoor service for at least a couple years. I was very happy until this past year. Service people changed and quality suffered. My lawn developed a lot of weeds and some bugs inside. Techs would come back with mixed treatment results and charge me full price for the interim applications. Prices seem to be in line with comparable companies.

I find it remarkable that a company whose service is dependent on the ability to enter
customer homes, fails miserably in customer communication. Let me be clear, our pest problem (roof rats) seems to have been remedied, however at no time did Petri make this convenient. Petri technicians apparently come and go on THEIR schedules NOT yours. And if you think a pre arranged time window has any meaning… well you will assuredly be very disappointed. In my case EVERY time the tech left… he assured me he would be back (usually 2 days) at the same time (about 8:30 am), and EVERY time I had to call their office to inquire where the tech was and time he was to arrive. he never once called… thereby forcing me to stay at home to play the waiting game. Bottom line is this company in no way respects the customers time. The last visit (thank goodness) was most memorable b/​c after I called them to ask about a time, I was informed that my account would be serviced by a different tech… who incidentally had NO knowledge of the tech of record previous appointments???
Had I not called… well it would have been a VERY long wait.
Be advised… choose another alternative for your PC.

Advertising is not cheap. One has to wonder why a company would spend good money on it, and then not call back a customer who wants service. I did not check reviews before calling them, but now that I have, I am glad they never called back. I can see from the couple of reviews here that they saved me from having to deal with an unprofessional, irresponsible company.

Jason is still wonderful.
Don, however, continually disappoints.
He doesn’t return phone calls.
I told him I really need to know in advance when they are coming so I can get home and be there. Yesterday, he called when someone was already on the way — at 12:30 in the afternoon while I was at work. I can’t exactly accommodate that with no notice. It’s frustrating, because had I been called in the morning with the advance notice I requested, I could have planned ahead to be there to let them in.
Also, he decided to tell my landlord that my boyfriend was living there, because one afternoon when he stopped by, my boyfriend was there. It’s not true. The bf has his own place. And when did it become appropriate for exterminators to report details of my personal life to other people?
If I was paying, I’d be dropping the service.
