Boyden Heating and Air Conditioning

I was ripped off for $ 200. My A/​C broke and I called Boyden around 6PM on Tuesday. Wednseday morning John called me and said he had someone available to come over in the morning. Will came by around 9:30am and installed a $ 2.15 capcitor. He was done in 45 minutes. So far everything is great. I was happy it was fixed until I saw the bill. It was broken down $ 75 service fee $ 225 for parts. I asked Will how much the capacitor cost and he said I would have to call and speak to John. I called John and he said that Will must have broken the bill down incorrectly. He confirmed the part cost was under $ 10 but the $ 300 total amount remained the same because of labor costs and there would be no refund. I feel like I’ve just been robbed of $ 200. How can 45 minutes of labor cost $ 297.85? The part is a TradePro 5MFD Oval Capacitor 370 or 440 VAC.

Wonderful experience from start to the finish. We had Boyden AC come out bc our AC unit was not working it was imperative we get a new unit installed quickly due to the fact we have young children in the home. The office staff and technicians were willing and eager to help us out, we signed a contract and before we knew it we were enjoying cool air once again. I refer Boyden Heating and AC to anyone looking for a reputable AC company!

Boyden saved me and my family a lot of headaches and money, Something you do not find in service companies these days. This is by no means a bait and switch company. I originally scheduled a tune up inspection being that our unit was long overdue for maintenance. They came by on time as planned, their inspection was accurate and I was even given copies of the diagnosis. I knew the work needed to be done, and I felt a little shy asking this… but I needed them to work with me on pricing. These «Angels» were kind enough to not only work with me on pricing, but they also provided me with a maintenance contract to avoid any future negligence from occurring. I think their customer service reps are exceptionally polite and intelligent. Sometimes I even call just to say hi. Not only will I use them again, I have even referred them to friends and family. Boyden is the real deal!!! God bless you people!!!

If you are looking for a good and honest company, then look no further. This company went out of their way to give me good service. And a reasonable price. I told them that I heard about the company through Unilocal and was given an immediate discount. They gave me a short time period UNLIKE other companies out there that give you ludicrous time gaps. They arrived on time and detected numerous issues with my unit. I need my A, C desperately living bdown here and had a bad experience with 2 different companies. Boyden was lucky number 3. I trusted what they said and once I showed them my other quotes, they discovered the actual problem and told me what to do in order to prevent it from happening again. Everyone at the office is so pleasant and helpful. This is a reliable company that deserves a billion stars! You just don’t find genuine companies anymore. That is not the case With Boyden! I have referred them to my job for an air duct cleaning as well. They have a sister company Absute Environmental too. They specialize in commercial air duct cleaning. I am continually impressed by them and I recommend this company to everyone!
