We carry sizes 4 – 28 in stock and we also have an array of bridesmaids dresses, veils and headpieces, and mother of the bride dresses. We even have a whole floor dedicated to quinceañera dresses. We can make your dreams come true for your special day.

History

Established in 1982.

The owner Coco Abadi has been in the bridal business since 1982. In 1996 he created and patented the «Flattering me» strapless bra, the only strapless bra in the world that give women complete breast support, with sizes up to «52F».

We are not a department store where the customers help themselves. Even though we are a warehouse type store we offer our customers full service like a fine bridal salon; on this special day we want to pamper you, and making sure you get the best service.

Weddings aren’t just regular dates, they are special and you want to make sure that every second you spend on getting everything for that date is done right, perfect, and without getting overcharged for it.

There are different kinds of customers; for example different looks, different body shapes, and even different religions and cultures. These are all important to choosing the right style for you.

I opened my bridal shop in 1982. In 1985 I decided to work as a «Sales Rep» for Venus Bridals and covered the «South East» for 6 years, including the last year in the «North East» area. The experience I got from this job was so great that help me to improve my store and make it the bridal shop with the best reputation in South Florida.

In 1990 I came back to my shop and there I invented the «Flattering me» long line strapless bra, the first and still the only «low back» long line strapless bra in the world that offers complete support and lift, www​.flat​ter​ing​.com. I patented it and today it sells all around the world.

In 2006 I sold the «patent» of my bra to «Merry Modes, Inc.» and semi retired from the bra business, working just in sales and designs for «Merry Modes, Inc.»

In November of 2014 I was hired as the owner’s Advisor and National Sales Manager for Venus Bridals.

Rhonda is amazing. She definitely has an eye for finding any woman the perfect dress. The store has a great energy and everyone is so sweet. I found my dress the first visit, and so did my mom and sister. The prices are great, too!

We found the dresses we wanted, However — we will not buy them from this establishment! Our consultant, Stephanie, was very rude and insulted everyone in the bridal party. She called me fat and told another bridesmaid that she was most likely going to gain weight… WTF?! On top of it she scolded the bride for taking a display dress off the wall, not off a mannequin, it was a hanger on the wall. It’s a good thing we found these dresses at 8 other stores. Sucks to be you, Angelus!

Rhonda is an absolute sweetheart! I walked in there as a first time bridesmaid and she was super helpful. She helped me get in and out of there in no time, with exactly what I needed.
Unfortunately things happen, and I was involved in a bad car accident. It created some complications with my order and Rhonda came to my rescue! She was totally understanding and helped me with my situation.
As much as people are there to run a business, its refreshing to work with people who treat you as a person, not just a number.

I am a bridesmaid in a friend’s wedding. She ordered our dresses in April for a november wedding, gave measurements over the phone. They sent me a bridesmaid dress the last week of august that was the biggest dress i have ever seen (definitely not based on my measurements) and also all wrinkled, with strings hanging. I took it to see how much alterations would cost and it would be minimum 150 dollars which is almost as much as the dress! When I called Angelus bridal they told me it was too late to do anything about it. They did not offer to alter it for a good price, to call any company to see if they had anything in a smaller size to exchange and just said it was too late to do anything. I would recommend to anyone who cares about their wedding to never come to this place again! By the way I also got married this year and am a bridesmaid in 4 weddings so I have had a lot of experience dealing with bridal shops and hands down this is the only place who refused to help at all and had such poor quality of dress and customer service.

My dress fit sooooo badly at the wedding thanks to the seamstress fixing one part and not having me try the dress on again. It gaped open in all my pictures and they look horrible! They didn’t have me try it on after it was fixed and it was pressed, so I didn’t dare put it on again until the wedding a few days later. I had asked for a built in bra so there wouldn’t be this problem and was told I didn’t need it — well now I have awful pics to go along with an ill fitting dress. On top of that — the bustle that was added did not stay up at all — kept falling, near impossible to dance. People kept having to rebutton it — after it was being dragged and stepped on! NO one has called to do anything — not even an apology for the trouble. They told me to email them a picture when I finally reached someone on the phone… and there was no email address on the site. After I left another unreturned call — they finally put the email address up on the website! Nothing to do at this point as the pictures are ruined and lord knows how many people were flashed by the gap!!! I had previously complimented them — that was when they were making the sale — guess attitudes change after they have their money!!! BAD BAD BUSINESS!!!

I recently bought my wedding dress as Angelus bridal and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Rhonda helped me find the perfect dress (even after the twentieth dress i tried on). The dress came in earlier than expected and the staff was great. They do ripped the designer tags out of the dress, but you can ask them what it is and they will tell you. I did my homework and this was by far the lowest price around.

Worst business attitude ever, extremely rude customer service, place is full of liars. Ordered bridesmaid dresses back in August, was told they would arrive end of Oct., first week of Nov., unfortunately they arrived Nov 19. I do not live in south Fl, so I made arrangements with them for $ 20 shipping (ridiculous) to have it sent to me before Thanksgiving, worst case scenario I was told I would get the dress Fri after Thanksgiving. On Nov 28, a week and a half later, I called to find out whereabouts of the dress, turns out they never shipped it because «something was wrong with their UPS account.» I was told the dress would be over nighted to me that Wed so I would get it on Thur. I finally got the dress late Friday afternoon, had to go to the post office to pick it up. The shipping label was $ 11 when they had charged me $ 20. I called them again and spoke with the owner, who was unbelievably rude. I told them they should not be making a profit off shipping when I already paid $ 160 for the dress, but the owner told me that is how businesses are ran, they make money off of everything. And him shipping the dress was a favor done for me, a favor that I paid for, and waited for almost 2 weeks and that instead of complaining I need to be thanking him that I got the dress. He also told me that he had to inconvenience one of this workers by going to the post office, waiting in line over an hour to ship my dress, but this inconvenience was due to «something being wrong with their UPS account.» I said I also had to inconvenience myself by going to the postal office on Fri afternoon after work and wait in a long line to get my dress. Had they sent it UPS like I was told, which is what I paid the $ 20 shipping for, the dress would have been delivered to the door. The owner said he was surprised I was upset over the $ 9, but it is not the money but the principle. If you pay for something you expect it done, especially if you’re told it would get done on a certain date. STAY AWAY!!!

Just wondered in one day no appointment during the week. The staff was very warm and accommodating. I had no intention on trying on dresses that day but I couldn’t resist. So as far as service goes they’re a 100% for me. The reduction to 1 star is due to what I and the LAW consider shady dress practices. None of the dresses had labels in them. Obviously this is due to not wanting the bride to be able to locate the dress anywhere else and a clear violation of Federal Trade Commission’s Textile Act. This may be ok for some but I find it very annoying and unethical. I will say I loved one dress I tried and the price was less than $ 1500. They have a large selection clearance dresses in the back that would be great for the budget bride. The regular dress selection is not extensive but most should be able to find something there.

I did not have much time or money for the wedding dress of my dreams, but Angelus Bridals helped me find the perfect gown at an affodable price… and it came in 2 weeks! Coco (the owner) and Ketty were both so very helpful and knowledgable. They gave me a better price and more personal service then any other store in Fort Lauderdale (trust me– I called everyone!).
