Specialties
We specialize in Mexican comfort foods like: tacos, burritos, tortas, sopes, quesadillas, and tamales. These dishes are made with some of our tasty marinated grilled chicken, tender marinated diced steak, al-pastor (marinated pork w/pineapple), and seasoned beer battered fish. In addition, we also serve lengua, cabeza, chorizo, milanessa, and some vegan items. One of our specialties is the Torta Cubana. We provide the freshest and tastiest ingredients. Our great taste comes from our traditional recipes from Mexico.
We also do catering for all occasions.
History
Established in 2013.
The company started under the management and experience of over 30 years. Working in the food truck industry for a year and seeing these mobile kitchens made inspired us to get back into the food industry. We wanted to create a food truck and had many ideas for different foods, so we decided to begin with one close to home, Mexican food. We have many years experience and specialize in classic traditional Mexican street and comfort food. It is a very competitive industry and taco trucks are everywhere in southern California. However, we know that providing the best quality products and service with our traditional recipes we will become a Southern Cal favorite.

At different stages of my life I have ventured into the food industry and have had success as well as gained experienced while enjoying the food industry. I have traveled in many parts of Mexico and South America tasting and learning how to create and develop recipes and dishes, adding to our own recipes from Mexico. The Gourmet Taco Truck is our new adventure serving the Southern California community. As this venture grows, so will our menu !
