The Color Run

Tram D and I had the opportunity of participating in Pomona’s Color Run on October 25, 2014. It was nothing short of an amazing time. We highly recommend it to adults and kids.
It was a short course, 5 km (about 3.1 miles) total. If you run the whole thing you should finish under 20+minutes, but we walked and enjoyed each other’s company and finished about 45+minutes. Every so often they had color stretch where volunteers would throw colored corn starch. I believe they had about 4 spots during the entire race (pink, yellow, blue, and purple).
At the end they have a stage where every 5−15+minutes they give away colored packets and on their count everyone throws them up in there. We had the most fun here and this spot is the best for photo opportunities.
It was truly a great experience. I recommend getting a Groupon deal ($ 35 vs retail $ 46.87) if it’s offered. Admission includes: shirt, Color Run bag, a couple tattoos, and a Color Run bracelet. Parking was $ 10. Enjoy!
