Pomona Antique Mart

This 3 story antique mart has it all, positive energy, helpful and knowledgeable owners /​employees who take time and are considerate with their customers ! Such a variety of items ! Their street-​antique fair is Saturday March 26^th 8 to 3 ! Stop in and Alberto will take care of you !

I’m totally biased because I have a shop within this mall, let me say that first and foremost, but what I can say is that it’s a great place to shop if you are into antiques. I’ve been to the other emporiums on this street and they are pretty nice too, but the reason I chose to sell from the Pomona Antique Mart is because their management is knowledgeable and helpful to the vendors, but also when I was simply a browsing shopper. In addition, most all the shops are nicely done, with vignettes that spark your imagination into times gone by.
You don’t need to buy anything to be taken back into time, whether it be the 1970s, 50s, Depression era or beyond; just browsing the aisles will do that for you, and it’s a nice way to spend a leisurely afternoon.

The staff was super helpful and kind. It has a very welcoming and family feeling. Interesting and fun antiques.

YES THIS ANTIQUE STORE HAS A/​C! They also have three amazing floors of a wide variety of antiques and collectables. Records, jewelry, furniture, clothes, glass, ceramics… you name it, they have it. Prices are very fair. When I asked about the art near the entrance I was told they are developing an art gallery that would include area artists. That is terrific for the community! The people behind the counter are so kind and helpful. You can tell they care about their business and their patrons. I love visiting here!

So many unique items. I can easily spend 2 hrs there.
Purchased a beautiful, rare handbag today. The staff made me feel welcome the minute I walked in. If you’re an antique lover this shop is a must.

Scored some excellent finds over the weekend here! And the gentlemen now running this place couldn’t have been more polite and helpful. They informed me of various dealer discounts and are currently offering additional 10%. Don’t know how long this will last but I’ll be going back soon. I travel from Palm Springs to LA almost every weekend and will be stopping here more often.

The staff is friendly and quite helpful. Worth a look. The prices are reasonable and there are several nice things.

My favorite of all the shops on Antique Row. Been coming here for over 10 years. Great used furniture downstairs. All three floors are full of quality items. I always enjoy browsing this store.

I have never felt compelled to write a review until today. I was really looking forward to my shopping trip to Pomona’s Antique Row especially Pomona Antique Mart. A huge historic building with three levels of collectables. After an hour, I couldn’t wait to leave this filthy collection of Salvation Army items. Add to the mix, a nasty smart mouthed manager, lazy help and an old building with no air conditioning and you have a recipe for retail disaster. I listened to dealers complain that they lose all their merchandise to theft and customers just aren’t willing to pay pay retail prices for merchandise they can get for half the price online. I decided to go to another store. Only one problem, all stores but one were closed. No it wasn’t a Holiday. It was in the middle of the week. What a waste of gas!

I don’t know what you’re all talking about! THIS PLACE IS AWESOME! The staff is Great. Their merchandise is priced to sell, with a great selection for every one.
The staff is always cheerful & helpful. The music Divine!
What a great vibe. I’ve been there maybe 4 to six times & they REMEMBER me! None of the other stores do!
The one problem I’ve noticed is they are, sometimes, a little short staffed! They could probably use a couple of extra employees to help us customers.
I will ALWAYS come back to find some of the best deals in town. Variety is the key to this place. I’m never disappointed

I came here to sell some antiques (and afterwards I had planned on buying a couple cute items in this store), but I experienced some terrible customer service and I have no desire to ever return here.
I had some items to sell (teapots and teacups) and so I called this store and asked if they were interested. They said they might be, so I brought them in and when I got there I began unwrapping them and placing them on the counter so they could take a look at them. The woman working there was very unpleasant and seemed completely uninterested, so I started to feel like this was a waste of my time. As I was laying out my items, a customer in the store came up to me and asked if what I had was for sale. The woman that worked there said «No. They’re hers, ask her», so of course I said yes. She paid me $ 16 for two teacups and saucers.
Immediately after, the woman who worked there (who I presume is the owner) said she was no longer interested in buying my items because I just sold something to a customer in front of her. She was very rude to me when telling me this and I was completely taken aback. I told her that I have never sold anything to an antique store before and if I had somehow broken any antiquing etiquette rules, that was not my intention at all. I was so confused at what had happened, and even though I explained that and apologized, she acted like I had just committed some terrible offense. It was a really odd experience, and in the future I will take my business to one of the many other antique stores nearby.

Yes, this place is MASSIVE (like three stories) but after ten minutes here you’ll realize that all the things in the stalls looks the same because all the things in the stalls are the same.
Okay, not *all* the things are the same but the majority of stalls that are hidden in the back of the store or downstairs (which there are actually some good deals)
I definitely spotted some really neat stuff at some of the stalls here but there was something about this particular store that seemed so soulless that I did not want to purchase anything here.
It’s funny because many of the items here were actually a lot older than the stuff that I spotted at other stores but there was something about the monstrosity and the sheer volume of products in the store that really turned me off.
Like many of the other antique shops on antique row the stuff here is overpriced but unlike many of the other stores on antique row this store this store lacks charm, character, customer service or anything that makes me want to drop dollas here.
If you have boundless energy and are looking for a one stop shopping experience on Antique Row I’d suggest you check out the Antique Mart. If what I have just described sounds kinda sorta awful I would suggest taking a pass on the Pomona Antique Mart.

Customer Service is the worst ever! We drove over 500 miles to purchase a piano bar and oak cabinet and when we got there the piano bar was in front and when we ask about it they said it was right there… they ran to the back so they would not have to help! then the manager told use we look like strong men, we can do it ourselves. the Manager also told us that customer’s who come into the store, will break items just to get a discount on them. When in fact we heard them drop the oak cabinet on the floor and damaging it! they denied it and told us the cabinet was like that already! It”s sad they take advantage of customer’s and the customer’s on consignment as well.
We decided not to purchase the oak cabinet and look down the street for another!
