Every session with Jon was great! Definitely helped me relieve a lot of emotions. Every session was another move I learned. Most if my weight lost came from muay thai. This was one of my many things I wanted to learn as I was soul searching. Coach Ryan is awesome too. If you ask for his honest opinion, he will tell you what looks right and what looks wrong and if it’s wrong he will show you how to make it right. I haven’t been back for such a long time as work and school consumed most of my time. I am hoping to come back and use my sessions if they are still available. I definitely can’t wait to put my body through pain again. Can’t wait to kick and punch some bags… or people. lol.

I am a up and coming fighter looking to gain new experience in my Thai boxing and I couldn’t have found a better place to learn. These guys really implement the foundation to muy Thai and I’m very excited to keep learning their style as I continue to defend my gladiator belt and be a number one contender!!! I definitely recommend this place.

Great instructors and owner, very knowledgeable and great communication skill to make understanding complicate techniques easy, highly recommended for serious students as well as beginners.

great place i come almost everyday to work out

I have always been fascinated by Muay Thai and for years I have tried to build up the courage to try it out… After looking for the perfect school to embark on my Muay Thai journey I encountered Master Toddy LA Training Center. I really did my research and found this to be the best place to check out. I have found many of the schools in the area are filled with pompous, fly-​by-​night wannabe fighters with no teaching experience or professional experience who try to intimidate you when you walk in the door. This is definitely not the case with Master Toddy’s. Coach Jon is amazingly knowledgeable and experienced. Coach Ryan is a great motivator to all who walk through the door at Master Toddy’s! He is AWESOME!!! The classmates are equally good people and encouraging: D I have learned so much in just 3 months, I am stronger than I have ever been in my entire life… This coming from an Olympian in two sports Soccer and Swimming and collegiate athlete, so you know that I know what training HARD is like… After being unable to regain full strength in my neck, shoulder, and back after a devastating car accident I was in 2 years ago, I am now strong and experience no pain as I had suffered from chronic pain since the accident. I have developed strength mentally and physically. After working hard at Master Toddy’s you feel a sense of accomplishment and awesomeness that can only be explained if you experience it yourself, my day cannot be complete until I go to kickboxing… I have newly acquired my yellow prajits and don’t feel like stopping anytime soon… I highly recommend going here if you want to test your limits, increase your knowledge of the art, or want to challenge yourself, or just get into amazing shape… You will be a better person because of it: D

When I decided to get into combat sports, I went to a couple of Muay Thai gyms around the IE (I did my research) looking for the best one, and as soon as I walked into Master Toddys La Training center I saw the DIFFERENCE. I noticed discipline, great coaches, awesome equipment (including a ring and cage) and classes everyday! Kru Jon greeted me with respect and what I like the most is that they didnt throw me with the big dogs right away, they evaluate your skills to see where you stand and they work with you based on what you know. All instructors know what they are doing and that gives you confidence that you are getting good training. They also offer Jiu Jitsu, with coach Gerome Egans who is an amazing instructor. If you really want to learn traditional Muay Thai or work on your Jiu Jitsu ground game, this is the place to be.

Hello everyone, this is Danny ‘Bulldog’ Perez here to do a review on Master Toddy’s LA Training Center of Pomona. I’ve been a student at Master Toddy’s for close to a year now although I injured my knee outside of the gym and was absent for about 4 months. I am a former student of Elite Boxing Academy and Millennia MMA and I would like to point out that Master Toddy’s is the gym to go to if you want to focus on Muay Thai. Not to say that Millennia and Elite don’t have good programs it’s just that if your looking to learn traditional Muay Thai and get the much needed attention from your coaches Master Toddys is where you want to be. Those that stay on top of their training will be tested, awarded and recognized by the Royal Thai government which is something that very few gyms whom teach Muay Thai can offer. You will also be given the oppurtunity to visit Thailand and train at Master Toddys headquarters and eventually can earn the chance to fight in Thailand. Overall the gym provides authentic instruction with hardcore emphasis placed on Muay Thai, top shape equipment, Muay Thai Pro Shop and private one on one instruction (extra). So stop by and talk to one off the coaches if you want to get serious with your Muay Thai game or just want to train to lose weight.

Master Toddy’s Training Center is the best! It’s not only a great place for guys to train at and learn martial arts, but also for girls looking to learn self defense and also get a great workout too! These classes will get you into the best shape of your life!

Kru Jon is strict but his training is legit. His classes aren’t the easiest but you see results fast! If you want an easy school go down the street to kiddie tae kwon do school. If you want to learn some real martial arts go to Mster Toddys! This place is also great for kids to learn discipline and self defense. When my son is older I’m gong to take him here.

Ive trained in many Martial Arts gyms and this place is legit. The muay thai practitioners are top notch. Most places just teach you how to kick with boxing, but you know a good muay thai school by their clinch work and Kru Jon knows his stuff.

Wow, very spacious great quality mats for jiu-​jitsu training and a separate mat area for muah-​thai training. Awesome to be training with Kru Jon who trained and helps trains Master Toddys students in Thailand. My intro class was in their custom boxing ring. The trainers were very friendly as well.

The much anticipated Master Toddy LA Training Center is finally here! I train Muay Thai with Kru Jon to integrate with my jiu-​jitsu game. The facility is spacious and very well put together.
I recommend anybody to train here.

My wife and I know Kru Jon from training together in Vegas with Master Toddy. Although we are based out of NYC, we keep in regular contact with him regarding Muay Thai, MMA and the fitness industry.
Kru Jonathan is a very technical instructor and methodical with his teaching applications in Muay Thai. He was one of the mentors/​coaches to the women fighters on Master Toddy’s reality TV series Tuff Girls filmed in Bankok which will air this year. He has a ton of knowledge ready to give to his students that are willing to learn and sweat and work.
We were very excited for him to learn that his gym is now open, and as promised, we will make the trip from NYC to LA to his camp. Great spot! this is NOT any hole in the wall. The place has one room with a full ring, matts, and bags, another room with weight lifting equipment and even ropes and tires! Master Kru John actually trained me for one of my fights and i got a first round knock out!

Just started training almost 2 weeks ago. I was referred by a friend. The gym looks great, theres a full sized ring and cage area to practice MMA. Weight room, lounge room, and lockers.
The classes are taught by experienced trainers and they are very relaxed and helpful. They give a great intro lesson to help students understand the basics of Muay Thai punches and kicks. Their rates are very reasonable as well. Awesome place!
